InfoCuria - Case-law of the Court of Justice

Official European Union database carrying all judgments, opinions and orders issued by the Court of Justice, General Court and Civil Service Tribunal, plus case summaries and court notices. The database is on the Courts' website, Curia. New cases are available on the day the decision is given. InfoCuria can be searched by case number, date, party names, subject, key words and other criteria. Content is available in all the official EU languages, except for cases not intended for publication in the European Court Reports.

Ministère de la Justice (Belgique)

Web pages of the Belgian Ministry of Justice, whose functions include the drafting and preparation of legislation (civil, commercial and penal), the support and logistics of the administration of justice in Belgium, and the management of Belgian penal institutions. Features of the website include some information on the current Minister, the structure and responsibilities of the Ministry, the independent commissions which work alongside the Ministry, and some corporate information on the Ministry (budget, personnel and buildings).

EUR-Lex: Consolidated Acts

Collection of consolidated European Union legislation on the free EUR-Lex website. The consolidated texts are intended as research tools; they have no legal validity. There is a dedicated search facility for consolidated texts, plus a browseable directory arranged by subject. EUR-Lex is available in all the languages of the EU member states.

International Federation of Reproduction Rights Organisations

Website of the International Federation of Reproduction Rights Organisations (IFRRO), which links reproduction rights organisations around the world. The site includes information about IFRRO including statutes and guidelines and the IFRRO newsletter. A directory of members, associate members and organisations with observer status gives profiles and contact details. Also available are IFRRO position papers, agreements, surveys and reports, plus a database of copyright legislation from countries around the world.

EU Treaties

Section of the European Union's Europa website providing links to key EU treaties and other basic instruments. The Lisbon Treaty, Treaty on European Union, Treaty establishing the European Community, Treaty establishing the European Coal and Steel Community and Treaty establishing the European Atomic Energy Community are all available. Other treaties and instruments include: the Single European Act and the Merger Treaty. The site is available in all the languages of the member states.

Council of the European Union: agreements database

This database, provided by the Council of the European Union, gives details of international agreements concluded between the EU and non-EU countries or organisations such as UN agencies; it also includes agreements between EU member states. The database covers all agreements since 1989, plus older agreements which are still in force and selected old agreements which are no longer in force. Ratification details and other status information are given. Official Journal references are provided, with links either to the full text or the EUR-Lex database's Official Journal search screen.

International Society for Military Law and the Law of War

The International Society for Military Law and the Law of War is an international non-profit association based at the Palais du Justice in Brussels. The Society was established in 1988 and draws its membership from university professors and civilian as well as military magistrates, public servants of high rank and lawyers or general or field officers located worldwide. The Society studies military law, the law of armed conflict and international humanitarian law. The website outlines the work of the Society and lists its publications, congresses and seminars.

Council of European Municipalities and Regions

The Council of European Municipalities and Regions was established in 1951. It is a federation of national local government associations within Europe who believe that local authorities have a major role to play in European integration. Its official website contains information on the purpose and current activities of the group. This includes a diary of forthcoming events, details of the impact of European integration on local government, publications and information on recent and forthcoming local elections in Europe.

The Legislative Observatory

The European Parliament's Legislative Observatory website, also known as OEIL, consists mainly of a searchable database tracking every proposal through the EU legislative process. All ongoing legislative procedures are included, plus concluded procedures going back to July 1994. For each procedure, there are summaries of key stages in the legislative process and forecasts of future stages. Links to the full text of many legislative documents are provided.
