Hong Kong Regulations

A web database, forming part of HKLII, the Hong Kong Legal Information Institute service, containing full-text consolidated Regulations of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) of the People's Republic of China. Regulations can be browsed alphabetically by name or by chapter number or searched using a comprehensive search engine. Hong Kong Legal Information Institute (HKLII) is a joint project to provide free access to the primary legal materials of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Nunavut Court of Justice Decisions

A CanLII database providing decisions released by the Nunavut Court of Justice since June 1999. Simple and advanced query options are provided to search the collection, supplemented by browsing lists of decisions sorted alphabetically by style of cause and sorted by date of judgment listed by year. CanLII, the Canadian Legal Information Institute, is a key service providing free access to Canadian primary legal materials. The service has been designed by LexUM at the University of Montreal (using software developed by AustLII) on the initiative of the Federation of Law Societies of Canada.

Berkeley Program in Law & Economics Working Papers

The Program in Law & Economics at University of California, Berkeley provides an interdisciplinary forum for scholarship in the fields of business law, and law and economics. This series of working papers are freely available online with abstracts back to 1995, and full text available for most papers from 1998 onwards. The series is hosted in the eScholarship repository, part of the California Digital Library.

Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies

The Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies, Italy, is part of the European University Institute, and carries out research in Law, Economics, History and Civilisation, and Social and Political Sciences, focusing on European issues, in particular European integration. Its website gives details of current research activities and contains a number of publications and papers which may be downloaded in PDF format, in both French and English. There is also a full list of papers published by the Centre, which may be ordered in printed format.

The British Safety Council

The British Safety Council is concerned with occupational health and safety. It works with companies in the UK and worldwide, to develop safe systems of work. The British Safety Council provides consultancy for the Health and Safety Executive and has campaigned for much UK health and safety legislation. The website has information about the organisation's many campaigns and details of training courses offered.

Ordre des Avocats de Paris

The Ordre des Avocats de Paris has approximately 18,000 members, who are avocats (advocates or barristers) in Paris. The website provides press releases, Le Bulletin du Barreau de Paris (back to January 2001), statistics and information on the role, regulation and history of the profession. An online directory (annuaire) of members can be searched by name, address, district, legal speciality, language spoken etc.

Cour d'Appel de Paris

The website of the Cour d'Appel de Paris presents information on the administration of justice in the Paris region of France. The organisation, jurisdiction and history of the Court are described and information is provided about the remit of each of its chambers. There are links to the websites of the various branches of the legal profession. Recent statistics are available about the work of the Court. The site also provides details of the inferior courts in the area, together with some legal information for the public.

Guide to Legal Research in Belarus

An article offering an outline of the legal system and notes on legal materials for the Republic of Belarus in Eastern Europe. The guide has been written by Nadia Shalygina, Director of the International Law Library in Minsk. The guide was published in 2005 and updated in 2008 on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law.

New South Wales consolidated regulations

An AustLII database featuring consolidated regulations for the State of New South Wales, provided by the NSW Parliamentary Counsel's Office. The system offers a comprehensive search facility, regulation name search and alphabetical browse list. AustLII, the Australasian Legal Information Institute is a collaborative public service developed by the University of Technology to provide free internet access to legislation and cases for Australia.
