Canadian Institute of Resources Law

Internet website providing general information about the Canadian Institute of Resource Law which was formed in 1979 by the University of Calgary to undertake and promote research in Canadian resource law and environmental issues. The website provides background details of the Institute's mandate, governance and management structure, with staff profiles and contacts list. Publications include reports, papers and conference proceedings, some of which are available in full text online.

Osgoode Hall Law Journal

Online version of the Osgoode Hall Law Journal, which is produced by Osgoode Hall Law School, York University, Canada. First published in 1958, the journal is available on this website from 1994 onwards. It publishes scholarly articles on a range of legal topics relating to Canadian, international and comparative law. The website offers browsing by author, title or volume number and there is a basic search facility.

Transcrime

Transcrime, the Research Centre on Transnational Crime, is based in the Department of Law at the University of Trento in Italy.  Its website gives an overview of the Centre's projects. The Publications page provides some titles in full and others with abstracts only. The site, including the publications, is in both English and Italian.

Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission: Decisions, Notices and Orders

A database of Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) decisions, notices and orders (DNOs). Reporting to Parliament through the Minister of Canadian Heritage, the CRTC is "an independent agency responsible for regulating Canada's broadcasting and telecommunications systems." Decisions can be browsed by number and/or by keyword searching back to 1984 for most sections. The site is available in English and French, the official languages of Canada. The English and French language searching pages search for English and French documents respectively.

Official website for the Nunavut Court of Justice. The site provides information about the Court, the judges, and links to decisions on CanLII, and Nunavut legislation. The site also provides court schedules, court directives, Rules of the Supreme Court of the Northwest Territories (Nunavut), Criminal Rules of the Supreme Court of the Northwest Territories (Nunavut), Northwest Territories Divorce Rules (Nunavut), Summary Conviction Appeal Rules, and Rules of the Court of Appeal Respecting Civil Appeals (Nunavut). The site is presented in English and Inuktitut language versions.

Human Rights Watch is an independent, non-governmental organisation which seeks to protect human rights all over the world. Its website provides up to date information on its work as well as access to many of its publications.

Supreme Court of Victoria Court of Appeal Decisions

An AustLII web database providing full text decisions from the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court of Victoria, Australia from 1998 onwards. Decisions can be searched or browsed alphabetically by name. Decision texts are selected and supplied by the Court. AustLII, the Australasian Legal Information Institute has been developed by the University of Technology in Sydney to provide public access to primary legal materials.
