Judicial Greffe

Website for the States of Jersey Judicial Greffe, the government department responsible for providing "administrative and secretarial services to the Island's Courts" and delivering information services relating to the Courts to the legal profession and public. The site presents outline information on the role and work of each section comprising the Judicial Greffe, including the: Appellate section, Family section, Probate section, Public registry, and Samedi section, supported by online HTML versions of guidance notes issued by the department. Staff contact lists are also included.

Index to 19th Century French Political Trials from the Labadie Collection

Index to a collection of more than 400 verbatim reports of trials against leaders of revolts, journalists and their editors, which took place in France during the 19th century. The reports are part of the Labadie Collection at the Special Collections Library of the University of Michigan and the index is published on the Library's website.

The guide references relevant print and electronic sources and materials.

International Work Group for Indigenous Affairs

The International Work Group for Indigenous Affairs (IWGIA)is an independent international organisation that promotes the rights of indigenous people, covering human rights, self-determination, the right to territory, control of land and resources, cultural integrity and the right to development. The website has information about individual countries and provides news updates and IWGIA publications, including the annual title, 'The Indigenous World'.
