Website of the World Justice Project (WJP) a United States based initiative, funded by foundations, professional firms, the American Bar Association and individual donors, concerned with strengthening the rule of law worldwide. The site gives organisational information about the WJP and its work and activities which cover three main strands: mainstreaming; scholarship and the Rule of Law Index. Details are provided on meetings hosted by the WJP including the World Justice Forum a global gathering where leaders in different disciplines meet to discuss how the rule of law affects their disciplines and to develop collaborative actions to strengthen the rule of law. The WJP's Rule of Law Index is a tool designed to measure countriesã adherence to the rule of law and can be viewed on the site. This is a work in progress and the WJP aims to administer the Index in 100 countries. The WJP also supports and publishes research on the rule of law which is made freely available on the site.
