China Patent Agent (H.K.)

Firm of patent and trademark attorneys established in Hong Kong in 1984 as a quasi-government entity to provide legal services for overseas clients. The site provides Chinese patent laws (in English), treaties, case summaries, forms and FAQs. The site can be viewed in English, German, Japanese and Chinese, but the content is not all available in every language.

Due Process of Law Foundation

The Due Process of Law Foundation (DPLF) is a private, non-profit organisation which aims to promote the reform of national justice systems in Latin America and strengthen the rule of law and human rights. It carries out research and training focusing on international justice, judicial accountability and transparency and equal access to justice. Details of activities and a collection of publications are available, together with a blog and news updates. The site has English and Spanish versions.

Disclosing Justice: a study on access to judicial information in Latin America

Report by the Due Process of Law Foundation (DPLF), looking at the legal frameworks for access to judicial information (including freedom of information laws) in the following Latin American countries: Argentina; Chile; Colombia; the Dominican Republic; Ecuador; Honduras; Mexico; Panama; Peru and Uruguay. For each country there is information on the availability of administrative information (financial, statistical and personnel) and case law. The report also outlines the legal instruments that provide access to information and looks at how the information is provided.

Judiciary of Malta

Website of the Judiciary of Malta, covering the work of judges, magistrates, judicial assistants and jurors. The Judiciary section includes information on the superior and lower courts. as well as a diagram of the court system (under 'Administration'). The site also covers judicial appointments and disciplinary proceedings, and makes available the Code of Ethics for the Judiciary, speeches by the Chief Justice and a legal history of Malta from 1530 to 1798.

National Sea Grant Law Center

Marine law and policy research centre founded in 2002 and based at the University of Mississippi. Sea Grant is a partnership between the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and universities that work with coastal communities conducting research, education, outreach and technology transfer.

PRS Legislative Research

PRS Legislative Research is an independent research initiative founded in 2005 to provide research support for MPs in the Indian Parliament. Its website tracks bills going through the Indian Parliament and provides collections of both central and state legislation. It also includes profiles of MPs, with details of their parliamentary activities, details of members of the state parliaments and other information about the national and state legislatures. Policy reviews, discussion papers and other material is also available. The site is available in English or Hindi.

Law Handbook Online- Victoria

Electronic version of the Law Handbook, a practical, plain English guide to the law in Australia. The Handbook was compiled, and made freely available online, by the Fitzroy Legal Service a community legal centre based in Victoria. The Law Handbook is arranged by topic headings such as dealing with the legal system, families and children, managing your money, fair treatment, buying and selling and dealing with the government. The text has links to external web resources including legislation and organisations, other sections within the Handbook and words featured in the glossary.

EIF Compliance Database

Compilation of studies focusing on the implementation of EU legislation, based at the University of Vienna's Centre for European Integration. The database brings together quantitative academic research concerning the implementation of directives and compliance with EU law.

Gender Justice Collection

The Gender Justice Collection (formerly the Avon Global Center for Women and Justice) is a resource provided by Cornell Law School in the United States. It comprises treaties and other regional and international documents relating to gender-based violence and gender justice, along with statutes and case law from around the world.

LESIJ.JS

LESIJ.JS is an open-access online journal provided by Nicolae Titulescu University in Romania. It covers covers all areas of law, but focuses particularly on topics that cross traditional branches of the law and the relationship of law to other disciplines. Topics covered include criminal justice, socio-legal studies, criminology, European private law, internet law and intellectual property law. As well as the current issue, back issues are available back to 2006.
