Freedom of Information

The Irish Government’s freedom of information (FoI) website, providing information and guidance about Ireland’s FoI regime. A short guide to Irish FoI legislation is provided, together with the full text of relevant acts and regulations. Court decisions from 1999 onwards are available and reports are provided on the Publications page.

WIPO Lex

Free global database of domestic laws and treaties relating to intellectual property, provided by the World Intellectual Property Organization. Both bilateral and multilateral treaties are included. The database can be either searched or browsed. Many of the national laws and bilateral treaties are in the vernacular, but some English translations are provided. The interface is available in English, French, Spanish, Arabic and Chinese.

BelgiumLex

Portal to Belgian law: the site links to searchable databases of legislation, jurisprudence and parliamentary proceedings. The Legislation section features national Belgian legislation, the Flemish Code, official government gazette and international legislation covering the Benelux Economic Union, European Union and treaties applicable in domestic law. The Jurisprudence section includes judgments from the Constitutional Court, Council of State and Court of Cassation. The site is available in Dutch, French, German or English.

Service d'Information et de Contrôle sur les Circuits Financiers - SICCFIN

Official site for the SICCFIN (Service d'Information et de Contrôle sur les Circuits Financiers) in Monaco concerned with Financial Services and regulation. The site outlines relevant Monegasque legislation with a chronology and links to the panel of laws involved in countering money laundering, terrorist funding and corruption. There are notes on measures enabling the freezing of funds and other economic sanctions and details of SICCFIN work on developing ways to cooperate on an international level. The site is presented in English and French language versions.

Monaco Lawyer

A resource site and blog proving access to information about Monaco law including topics such as financial services, intellectual property, investment, residency, and taxation. The site is sponsored by the Monaco office of international law firm Berg and Duffy, LLP. The site includes selected legislation in original French text, unofficial translation into English and official translations where they are available. Information is freely available on site which also offers a login account facility for the blog.

Laws of South Sudan

Web page providing information on the Constitution and laws of South Sudan. The site is hosted by the Gurtong Trust a not-for-profit peace and media project based in South Sudan. There is a guide to the legal system in Southern Sudan and full text legislation including a copy of the 2005 Interim Constitution. There is also information on the customary laws of South Sudan, its judiciary and court system.

Government Press, Sri Lanka

The website of the Sri Lankan government printer makes available acts from 1980 onwards, bills from 2003 onwards and the official gazette from March 2006 onwards. These documents are generally available in Sinhala, Tamil and English, but some are only in one or two of these languages. Tender notices are also available.

New Zealand Parliament

The New Zealand Parliament website provides information and documentation relating to the work of Parliament. It makes available parliamentary rules and information about the legislative process, political parties, MPs and select committees. Debates (Hansard), details of bills, supplementary order papers, acts and regulations are also found on the site. The 'Publications and Research' section provides fact sheets, procedural guides and research papers.

Federation of European Employers

The Federation of European Employers is a non-profit organisation representing the interests of large multi-national employers who wish to keep within the letter and spirit of EU law on employment rights. The site has a large amount of information on topics such as pay and working conditions across Europe, EU directives, national labour laws, cultural differences, working in the EU and EU statistics.
