Ministry of Justice: Algerian Law Portal

The Algerian Ministry of Justice law portal provides access to a range of legal materials. Full text legislation including legal codes and laws relating to trade and business are given along with details of international agreements Algeria is party to. Decisions of the Supreme Court, copies of the Official Gazette and the Algerian Constitution can also be viewed online. The site can be viewed in Arabic or French only.

Congrès de la Nouvelle-Calédonie

Official website of the Congress of the French overseas territory of New Caledonia. The site provides a history of the institution and information on its composition and role, including a list of members. Laws, constitutional texts, political agreements, speeches and procedural rules of the Congress are available, and there is an events calendar. The site is in French only.

Niue government online

Official website of the government of Niue, an island in the South West Pacific Ocean. The site provides information about the current government and general information about Niue. It also includes the consolidated laws of Niue, 'Niue Laws / Tau Fakatufono-tohi a niue: Legislation as at 31 December 2019' and details of bills currently under consideration by the Bills Committee. 

N-Lex

N-Lex provides a single search interface that can be used to search any of the national legislation websites of the EU member states. The search page is available in all 24 EU official languages. When searching by key words, either machine translation or the multilingual Eurovoc thesaurus can be used to translate them. For each state there is also general information about the types of legislation produced and the website to which the N-Lex search interface applies.

Internet Watch Foundation

Website of the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF), a UK organisation that combats online child abuse. The site has an online facility for the public to report illegal internet content. It also provides information about IWF resources and tools - including an image hashtag list, keywords list and intelligent web crawler - and gives details of the foundation's policy work in the UK, EU and around the world. Part of the site is accessible to members only.

An Introduction to Venezuelan governmental institutions and primary legal sources

Online guide to government and primary legal materials of Venezuela written by Luis Bergolla a J.S.D. candidate Stanford Law School and Visiting Scholar at the Max Planck Institute Luxembourg for Procedural Law. The guide was published in 2006 (and updated in 2022) on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law. The author provides background information to Venezuela and descriptions of the various forms of government including the executive, legislative, judicial, citizen and electoral powers.

Legislation Turkmenistan

Collection of links to laws of Turkmenistan, provided by Lexadin, a Dutch legal technology firm. The laws are arranged by subject including constitutional, administrative, criminal, civil, commercial, company, employment, health, taxation, banking and intellectual property law. They are in either English or Russian.

Japanese Law Translation

Website provided by the Japanese Ministry of Justice, offering unofficial English translations of Japanese legislation. Translated laws can be searched by title, keyword or number or browsed by subject or government department. The texts can be viewed with the Japanese and English versions side by side. The site also has a Japanese-English dictionary and links to Japanese government agencies and other law sites.

Legifrance

Legifrance is the official French law website. The contents include the Constitution and individual laws in force (under 'Textes consolidés'); more than 70 codes; the Journal Officiel from 1869 onwards, cases, draft laws and other parliamentary material (under 'Dossiers legislatifs'). The site, which is entirely in French, can be browsed by type of material, and basic and advanced search facilities are available.
