The website provides background information to international humanitarian law, international human rights law, international criminal law and international refugee law.

The site provides information about the PLP and its work, including research, casework and training. IAALS research is focused on the US civil justice system covering the following areas: civil justice reform; civil case management; judicial selection; judicial performance evaluation; judicial independence and domestic relations. Membership is not required to view the site, but is free and offers notifications of upcoming events and conferences. The guide was published in 2008 (and updated in 2019) on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School at the New York University School of Law. The author provides background information to Lebanon and to the Lebanese legal system. There is a section on the Constitution and on the roles and responsibilities of the executive, legislative and judicial branches of government.
