Website of the interpreting Privacy Principles (iPP) project which is based at the Cyberspace Law and Policy Centre at the University of New South Wales in Australia. The project is focused on the ¶interpretation of information privacy principles (IPPs) and µcore conceptsã in Australiaãs various privacy laws, particularly by Courts, Tribunals and privacy regulators÷ and is funded by the Australian Research Council. The site provides background information to the project and its partners and access to full text working papers, conference papers, journal articles and other publications of the iPP. There are also submissions made by iPP to the Australian Law Reform Commission concerning privacy law reform. The site has sections detailing the projectãs work on the Asia-Pacific Privacy Charter and the APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) Privacy Framework and the Australian governmentãs proposal for a national ID card system. The site has a link to the Privacy Law Library on WorldLII (World Legal Information Institute), the principal research resource developed by the iPP project.
