Human Rights Lawyers Association

The Human Rights Lawyers Association (HRLA) is a professional organisation launched in 2003 to provide a forum for lawyers, academics and students interested in human rights law. Activities of the HRLA include publishing papers and articles, organising seminars and workshops and providing consultancy and advice. The website sets out the aims of the HRLA, events and membership details. The site also provides access to conference papers and a page of annotated web links to related sites.

Isle of Man Law Society

The Isle of Man Law Society represents and regulates advocates practising in the Isle of Man. Its website provides information about the history, role and organisation of the Society, along with a selection of FAQs. It also has guidance for litigants in person, information about legal aid and a searchable directory of advocates. Parts of the site are restricted to members only.

Hong Kong Bar Association

The Hong Kong Bar Association is the professional organisation for barristers in Hong Kong. Its website provides information about the work of a barrister and a directory of Hong Kong barristers, barristers' chambers, arbitrators and mediators (the Bar List). It also includes professional rules and regulations, reports, speeches, articles, position papers and press releases. Some parts of the site are restricted to members only.

Supreme Court Historical Society

The Supreme Court Historical Society is a non-profit organisation which seeks to preserve and disseminate historical information about the US Supreme Court. It organises lectures, holds training for schoolteachers and publishes books and periodicals. The website has a detailed history of the Court, with profiles and pictures of the justices, information about the different court locations over the years and details of its work.

Bombay Bar Association

The Bombay Bar Association (BBA) is for lawyers who practise or intend to practise in the Bombay High Court. Its website has information about the BBA, event listings and videoed lectures. It also provides a set of links to the Bombay High Court and the Supreme Court of India, including cause lists (case schedules), practice notes, notices and lists of judges.

Junior Lawyers Division

The Junior Lawers Division (JLD) is a Law Society group for LPC students, LPC graduates, trainee solicitors and solicitors who have been working for up to five years since they qualified. Its area of the Law Society website has feature articles, advice, news and information about training and networking opportunities. The JLD replaced the Young Solicitors Group and the Trainee Solicitors Group in 2008.

Property Litigation Association

Membership organisation for solicitors, legal executives and barristers specialising in property litigation. The website includes a library of articles, news updates, podcasts and blogs on aspects of property law and litigation from 2005 to the present. There are also details of training and other events, together with information about the PLA's law reform work.

Lithuanian Association of Judges

The Lithuanian Association of Judges (LAJ) is a non-profit organisation established in 1993 to represent judges and secure the independence of the judiciary in the Republic of Lithuania. Its website provides details of meetings, seminars, conferences and other activities, including official statements. The full site is in Lithuanian but an English version is available.
