Court of Appeal of Solomon Islands

Forming part of the PACLII website, this page gives access to electronic versions of over 250 decisions from the Court of Appeal for the Solomon Islands, from 1982 through to the present day, and is regularly updated. Cases can be browsed both alphabetically and by year. Alternatively, the database search option can be selected, which will allow searching across the entire dataset.

Yap state court decisions

Forming part of the PACLII website, this database contains electronic versions of selected decisions of the Yap State court in Micronesia. Cases can be browsed by year or alphabetically, or the ‘search databases’ link can be followed to allow for searching across the dataset.

Supreme Court of Ireland

The website of the Supreme Court of Ireland provides information about the Court and about the Irish legal system generally. It makes available the ordinary judgments of the Court from 2001 onwards, and decisions on Article 26 references (parliamentary bills referred to the Court under Art. 26 of the Constitution) from 1940 onwards. The site also includes the Constitution of Ireland and a short bibliography of Irish constitutional law. It can be viewed in English or Irish; there are also general information pages in French and German.

African Human Rights Case Law Analyser: collection of decisions from the African human rights system

Free web database of over 200 decisions of the African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights (ACmHPR). There are also cases from other African human rights bodies including ECOWAS Community Court of Justice and the East African Court of Justice. Launched in November 2010, it is a joint project of the Institute for Human Rights and Development in Africa (IHRDA) and Human Rights Information and Documentation Systems (HURIDOCS).

International Investment Arbitration and Public Policy

Website and research tool offering open access to research and data on international investment arbitration. The service includes: a database of known arbitration cases decided under investment treaties; access to investment arbitration cases by policy area (such as agriculture, environmental protection, taxation); a compilation of the appointment records of individual arbitrators who have sat in investment arbitration cases; and other information and commentary on the system of international investment arbitration.

Carey Olsen is a Channel Islands law firm which covers a range of practice areas, including company and commercial, banking and financial, restructuring and insolvency, trusts, property, employment, competition, litigation and dispute resolution. The Publications section of its website provides a collection of articles produced by the firm on the law of Jersey and Guernsey, together with summaries of recent Jersey and Guernsey judgments. It is possible to subscribe for email delivery of publications on selected topics.

A Spanish site providing legal news, key Spanish legislation as amended and selected case law. The site offers RSS feed subscriptions for legislation updates as well as searchable databases of legislation and jurisprudence. The site is in Spanish.

Employment Cases Update

Website of Employment Cases Update, a free legal information resource published by Bath Publishing Limited. Judgments of the Employment Appeal Tribunal, High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court, back to 2010, are indexed with short headline notes, keywords and links to the full text. Employment legislation is listed and keywords provide access to relevant cases, legislation and news. You can also sign up for free email alerts.

 

Office of the Independent Adjudicator

The Office of the Independent Adjudicator (OIA) for Higher Education is the body responsible for handling student complaints in England and Wales and was set up under the Higher Education Act of 2004. The site contains details about the complaints process and the range of topics that they do and do not deal with. Summaries of cases dealt with are available on the site along with annual reports and good practice guidance.
