Online guide to the international criminal courts of Yugoslavia, Rwanda and Sierra Leone compiled by Amy Burchfield who is Head of Access and Faculty Services at the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law Library and updated by Andrew Dorchak who is Head of Reference and Foreign/International Law Specialist at The Judge Ben C. Green Law Library at Case Western Reserve University's School of Law. The guide was published in 2005 and updated in 2017 on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law.

Researching the United Nations: finding the organization's internal resource trails

Online guide to United Nations resources compiled by Linda Tashbook who is Foreign International Comparative Law Librarian at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law's Barco Law Library. The guide was published in 2005 and updated in 2022 on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School at the New York University School of Law. The author suggests search strategies for finding information by and about the UN and covers the use of different types of research tools available such as directories, databases and research guides.

Secret Intelligence Service

This is the official website of MI6, the secret intelligence service of the UK. It provides information on the history, purpose and activities of the SIS. This includes access to full text legislation and the Parliamentary, Ministerial, judicial and financial oversight governing the department. There is information on SIS's archive and records policy, details of careers and a glossary of terms.

Investigatory Powers Tribunal

Investigatory Powers Tribunal conducts investigations into complaints made by members of the British government under the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act. This includes surveillance, telephone tapping and interception of communications (bugging) by the Intelligence Services MI5, the Secret Intelligence Service (sometimes called MI6) and GCHQ (Government Communications Headquarters). The website provides information on the purpose, statutory powers and activities of the Tribunal.

Planning and Environment Bar Association

Website of the Planning and Environment Bar Association (PEBA) whose members are barristers specialising in "planning, environment, compulsory purchase, highways, housing, rating and other aspects of local government and administrative law". The site gives information on the work of PEBA and includes a full-text (PDF) copy of the PEBA Handbook. Details of pro bono work carried out by PEBA members is also provided. The site provides information on the background and structure or the Competition Authority and the work it carries out. The 'documents' section includes a complete collection of Competition Authority decisions along with reports, studies, discussion papers, submissions and notices. Country Reports on Human Rights Practices: US Department of State

These reports are compiled annually by the United States Department of State Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor. They provide assessments of the current state of human rights as defined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This covers: individual, civil, political, and worker rights. Topics covered include: summary of human rights legislation, assessments of democracy and womens rights. Reports are available from 1999 onwards.
