Researching the Argentine Legal System

Online guide to the Argentine legal system written by Gloria Orrego Hoyos who works at the Secretariat Training and Jurisprudence of the Public Defender's Office in Argentina. The guide was published in 2006 (and updated in 2022) on the Globalex website and is made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law. The authors provide background information to the Argentine government and the executive, legislative and judicial powers.

Researching laws and information on nutritional and dietary supplements on the web

Online guide to the law regulating nutritional and dietary supplements in the United States written by Joel Rothman who is an attorney with the Florida law firm Rutherford Mulhall, P.A. The guide was published on the features page of LLRX.com in January 2006 and provides information on the law and links to legislation, agencies and documentation relating to nutritional and dietary supplements. There is a section on the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994 (DSHEA) and guidance on how "new dietary ingredients" (NDI) and banned substances are dealt with.

Constitution of Turkey

This site contains the 1982 Constitution of Turkey (amended up to 2007) in English, provided by the International Constitutional Law (ICL) project at the University of Bern in Switzerland. The document deals with fundamental, social and economic and political rights and duties, sources of legislative, executive and judicial power, national defence and financial and economic provisions.The site also provides historical and background information to the Constitution.

Central Registry of Information on Looted Cultural Property 1933-1945

Website of the Central Registry of Information on Looted Cultural Property a charitable organisation set up under the auspices of the Oxford Centre for Hebrew and Jewish Studies to provide information and resources on Nazi looted cultural property. The site contains information from 40 countries which participated in the 1998 Washington Conference on Holocaust-Era Assets. Information provided for each country includes laws, policies and guidelines, official reports and research resources. Information on the site is fully searchable by phrase or keyword.

Human Rights First

Human Rights First is an advocacy organization based in New York City and Washington, DC. Areas of concern include: international justice and the ICC, international humanitarian law, international refugee policy, campaigns against torture and support of refugees and asylum-seekers in the US. Its website provides information on the aims of the organisation and its activities. It includes news alerts, press releases and papers.

JUDIS

The JUDIS (Judgment Information System) service forms part of the Indian Courts Website and is made available by the Courts Informatics Division at the Ministry Of Communications and Information Technology. The site provides access to legal decisions from the Indian courts included reported cases from the Supreme Court of India from 1950 onwards. Also included are cases from the High Courts of Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, Bombay, Madras, Bombay, Allahabad, Gauhati, Chattisgarh and Kerala. Cases from the Delhi District Court can also be viewed on the site.

World Law: Macau

Section of the WorldLII's website covering Macau, a special administrative region of the People's Republic of China. The site offers links to Macau law resources on the web, including law journals, government websites, legislation, courts and case law, introductions to Macau law and indexes.

Vilnius Court of Commercial Arbitration

The Vilnius Court of Commercial Arbitration provides a permanent arbitration institution hearing national and international commercial disputes in Lithuania. It is an amalgamation of two Lithuanian arbitration institutions- the Arbitration Court at the Association International Chamber of Commerce Lithuania and the Vilnius International Commercial Arbitration. The site is available in Lithuanian, Russian and English and includes a copy of the Law on Commercial Arbitration of the Republic of Lithuania and various news items.
