Website of the Riigi Teataja the Estonian state gazette which provides English translations of full text Estonian legislation. The laws can be browsed by date (most recent first) or searched by title, contents, issuer, type or date.

Thailand Legal Basics

An outline of the legal system in Thailand, available on the website of Thai law firm Tilleke & Gibbins. The report was written in September 2009 and includes an introduction to Thai law and basic information on the court system, land ownership, working in Thailand and a summary of the law concerning intellectual property, the environment, companies, finance, employment, e-commerce, drugs, insurance and taxation. Other publications on Thai law are available on the same website.

J-PlatPat (Japan Platform for Patent Information)

Free searchable database with English interface providing information on Japanese patents, utility models, designs, and trademarks issued by the Japan Patent Office. Users can search a range of resources applicable to the different types of industrial property including applications, gazettes and bibliographies. A simple search option uses keyword or number searching and an advanced search provides additional parameters eg. date, classification etc. The site also has trial decisions and online help with using the database and the Japanese design classification scheme. 

Kenya Human Rights Commission

The Kenya Human Rights Commission is a non-governmental body established in 1992 to monitor the state of democracy and human rights in Kenya. Its website provides information on the history, purpose and activities of the organisation. It includes access to recent press releases and details of programmes being undertaken. Topics covered include transitional justice, political corruption, the state of democracy in Kenya, human rights abuses and the conduct of elections and referendums.

Japanese environmental laws

Collection of online, environmental laws and regulations made freely available on the Japanese Ministry of the Environment website. The legislation is grouped under subject headings which include global environment, waste and recycling, environmental policy and air and transportation. The collection includes an outline of the Basic Environment Law. The majority of the laws are presented in HTML with a small number in PDF format. The site can be viewed in English or Japanese.

Essential Issues of the Chilean Legal System

Online guide to Chilean law written by Sergio Endress Gomez who is a lawyer and Professor of Taxation and Trial Taxation at the School of Law of the Universidad de Chile. The guide was published in 2005 and updated in 2025 on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School at the New York University School of Law. The guide provides an introduction to the Chilean legal system looking at the structure of government, the types of legislation and the court system including information on the various courts in Chile.
