A CommonLII database containing judgments of the Sri Lankan Court of Appeal reported in the Sri Lanka Law Reports from 1979-2000. There are also cases going back as far as 1809 and recent cases are provided up to 2005. Decisions can be browsed alphabetically or by date. The system also offers a comprehensive search facility, case name search and help page. Full text decisions are presented in HTML. The data has been made available by LAWNET a project established by the Sri Lankan Ministry of Justice. The Commonwealth Legal Information Institute (CommonLII) is a collaborative service providing free access to primary legal materials from Commonwealth and common law countries and territories.
