Ministry of Justice

Official website of the Argentina Ministry of Justice the government department responsible for the administration of justice, enforcing the law, and upholding human rights. Details of the Ministry’s work is given covering criminal justice policy, human rights training and programmes providing access to justice including centres offering legal information, mediation services and assistance for victims of crime. Argentine laws, including legislation, decisions, codes and constitutions, are provided in full and can be searched using a simple or advanced search facility.

Supreme Court of Argentina

Website of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, the highest court in Argentina, which decides on cases dealing with the interpretation of the constitution and administration of the judiciary. Full text judgements and summaries can be searched on the site and full text volumes of Supreme Court rulings are given back to 1863. There is also information on cases in progress, profiles of the Supreme Court judges, news items and a selection of FAQs. The site can be viewed in Spanish only.

Constitutional Court of Ecuador

Website of the Ecuador Constitutional Court, the body responsible for guaranteeing the validity and supremacy of the Constitution and constitutional rights. The site provides case summaries and selected full text judgements can be found in the monthly Jurisprudential Bulletins. Profiles of the judges are given along with a copy of the Constitution and full text laws governing the Constitutional Court. The site can be viewed in Spanish only

Supreme Judicial Council

Website of the Qatari Supreme Council of the Judiciary which oversees the courts and the independence of the judiciary. There is information on the court system in Qatar with overviews of the functions of each court including the Court of Cassation, the Court of Appeal, Court of First Instance, Investment Court, Civil Court, Family Court and Criminal Court. An encyclopedia of Qatari legislation is also given. The site can be viewed in Arabic only.

Qatari Legal Portal (Al-Meezan)

Website of the Qatari Legal Portal provided by the Ministry of Justice. The site has full text legislation dating back to 1961 which can be searched by date, subject and type of legislation along with full text treaties Qatar has signed. Selected judgements of the Court of Cassation can be browsed by subject or date or searched by keyword. Copies of the Official Gazette are also available back to 1961. The site can be viewed in Arabic with limited content available in English.

The Statutes Project

Free online access to historical acts of the English / British / UK parliaments from the thirteenth century onwards, provided by historian John Levin. As well as a searchable collection of digitised statutes, the site includes bibliographies of digitised legislation from the UK, Ireland, Isle of Man, former British colonies, France and Russia. It also has a Slavery Law section, with links to British legislation and cases relating to slavery and the slave trade.

Ecourts Services: High Courts of India

Website providing information and resources relating to the Indian high courts made freely available online by the Supreme Court of India. The search interface enables cases to be searched by number or court. The status of a case, court orders and cause lists are also available and links are given to all the individual high court websites where additional information is provided.

Constitutional Court of Morocco

Website of the Moroccan Constitutional Court, which provides a searchable collection of court decisions, 2017 onwards (in Arabic), accompanied by indexes of decisions of the Constitutional Council (1999-2009) and Constitutional Chamber (1972-1986). There site also includes resolutions, court rules, the 2011 Constitution of Morocco and the Law on the Constitutional Court (in Arabic and French), and other laws (Arabic only). The Constitutional Court Review, which publishes cases, is available from 2008 onwards in French and/or Arabic.

Constitutional Court of Jordan

The Constitutional Court of Jordan was established in October 2012 and began work in 2013. The English version of its website includes translations of selected judgments and English versions of the Constitution of Jordan and the Law of the Constitutional Court; it also has general information about the court, and case statistics. The Arabic version provides cases from 2013 to the current year, court rules, the Constitution, the Law of the Constitutional Court, publications and links to law databases such as Qistas and Qarark (a login and/or subscription is required to access these).

UK-EU Relations Law

Website focusing on the new legal relationship between the UK and the EU, post Brexit, written by Jack Williams of Monckton Chambers. The site gives an overview of this new developing area of law between the EU and UK and provides links to relevant legal materials. These include UK-EU agreements, EU and UK legislation, legal cases and various policy documents/guidance. There is also a blog covering all aspects of the subject, dating back to June 2020, which can be searched by keyword and browsed by topic or date.
