Acts (either current or as enacted), regulations, policies, proclamations and bills can be browsed as alphabetical lists, or searched. The legislation is presented in PDF and RTF format.

Researching South African law

Online guide to researching South African law written by Amanda Barratt and Pamela Snyman who are law librarians at the University of Cape Town Law Library. The guide has been updated by Redson Kapindu who is a Lecturer in Law at the University of Johannesburg. The guide was published in 2005 and updated in 2018 on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law. The authors give background and historical information to the structure of the state including the Constitution, Parliament and judicial system.

Jurisite Tunisie

Jurisite Tunisie is a legal information website which seeks to promote communication and the dissemination of information about the law of Tunisia. The site is not-for-profit and unofficial. It provides Tunisian codes and individual laws, legal news and discussion forums. There is a practice section with a collection of links to other websites with Tunisian legal content; tax calculators and other tools; and answers to frequently asked questions on various legal topics.

New Zealand legislation

New Zealand's legislation website, provided by the Parliamentary Counsel Office (PCO). The site makes available public, local and private acts, secondary legislation, bills and supplementary order papers. Since January 2014, authentic online versions of legislation have been available, including official updated texts of principal legislation (as against amending legislation) enacted or made since 1931, as well as other point-in-time versions. The site also has old provincial acts and imperial legislation. A glossary of legislative and other terminology is provided.

Chronological Tables of Local and of Private and Personal Acts

Official website providing free access to online tables chronologically listing Private and Personal Acts from 1539 to 2007 and Local Acts from 1797 to 2007 passed by the Parliaments at Westminster. The tables have been produced by the Law Commission and the Scottish Law Commission and most were originally published by Her Majesty's Stationary Office (HMSO). Introductions are given to both tables providing background information to the project, explaining what is included in the tables, the sources used, notes on the text and availability of the acts.

Infolegis: Pesquisa Juridica no Brasil

Website produced by Edilenice Passos, who works with the Federal Senate Consultancy Staff in Brazil. Infolegis is a free website presenting a selection of Brazilian laws translated into English; these are not official translations. A link is given to an English version of the Brazilian Constitution; other translated laws included on the site cover banking, leasing, intellectual property rights and arbitration. There is an alphabetical list of Brazilian law by topics, including guidance to the law and links to relevant agencies.

Office of the Attorney General, Ireland

Official website of the Attorney General of Ireland, legal adviser to the government and chief law officer of the State. The website gives an account of the role and duties of the Attorney General and the work of other offices within the Office of the Attorney General including the Office of the Parliamentary Counsel to the Government, the Office of the Chief State Solicitor and the Statute Law Revision Unit.

Center for Reproductive Rights, The (CRLP)

The Center for Reproductive Rights (CRLP) is a non-profit advocacy organization dedicated to promoting and defending women's reproductive rights worldwide. It focuses on human rights, abortion, contraception, adolescents and female circumcision/genital mutilation. The website provides information about legislation and court decisions as well as publications, press releases and a newsletter; it includes a continually-updated World Abortion Laws map. The site is available in Spanish or English.

New South Wales Legislation

Website containing New South Wales legislation made freely available by the Parliamentary Counsel's Office in Sydney, Australia. The database includes acts and statutory instruments in force, historical and repealed versions of legislation (starting from January 2002) and an archive of legislation as it was originally made (back to January 1990). Acts and regulations are listed alphabetically by title or can be searched using words and phrases. The full-text of the legislation is available in HTML. The 'As Made' (sessional) acts are available as PDF documents.

Romanian Legislative Council

Official website of the Romanian Legislative Council which was set up in its present form in 1993. The role of the Council is to advise the Government on bills, draft statutory orders, draft codes and other legislative proposals, to ensure legislation conforms to the provisions and principles of the Constitution and to keep an official record of the legislation. The website includes online (PDF) copies of the laws and regulations which set up and established the structure of the Council and provides information on its history and powers. The site can only be viewed in Romanian.
