Institute for Law School Teaching
The Institute for Law School Teaching is a professional organisation based at Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, Washington, USA. The Institute was established in 1991 to improve the quality of teaching and learning in legal education by providing guidance and setting standards. Details of the Institute's goals appear on the site along with the 'Seven Principles for Good Practice in Legal Education'. Ideas for teaching law are explained, including concept mapping, cooperative learning groups and multiple-choice quizzes.

Law of War Deskbook
The Law of War Deskbook is published by the International and Operational Law Department of The Judge Advocate General's Legal Center and School in the United States. This edition was published in January 2011 and is made freely available in full text (PDF) on the Library of Congress website. The Deskbook is intended to be used as a teaching tool covering the international and operational law subjects taught to military judge advocates. There are chapters providing an introduction to public international law and looking at the history and framework of the law of war.
