International Humanitarian Law Databases

This part of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) website provides free access to the ICRC's International Humanitarian Law (IHL) databases. There is a treaty database which includes IHL treaties and related documents and lists the states that have signed and/or ratified or acceded to the treaties. It also contains the ICRC commentaries to the four 1949 Geneva Conventions and their additional protocols.

Takeovers Panel

Official website of the New Zealand Takeovers Panel, the body responsible for enforcing the Takeovers Code and keeping the law on takeovers under review. The Panel was established by the Takeovers Act 1993. The website provides information about the Takeovers Code; the Transactions page has decisions and exemption notices issued by the Panel since 2001; guidance, consultation documents and other material is also available.

Australian Privacy and Surveillance Law Library

An AustLII project providing a searchable collection of Australian legal materials on privacy and surveillance law. The Library was been developed in conjunction with the interpreting Privacy Principles (iPP) Project at the Cyberspace Law & Policy Centre at the University of New South Wales. There are databases containing case law, legislation, law journals and law reform publications as well as links to external related resources. The content can be searched or browsed.

Guernsey Legal Resources

The Guernsey Legal Resources website is a joint initiative of the Royal Court of Guernsey and the Law Officers of the Crown. The site a range of materials, including laws of Guernsey, Alderney, Sark and the Bailiwick of Guernsey (the latter consists of the three jurisdictions of Guernsey, Alderney and Sark) and ordinances for Guernsey and Sark. The Guernsey Law Reports 2003 to 2012 are available, with indexes by case (reported and cited), subject and legislation cited.

Thailand Law Forum

The Thailand Law Forum (TLF) was founded in 1997 by American and Thai law professors to provide Thai legal information in English. The website includes the bi-annual Thailand Law Journal, translations of legislation - including codes - and summaries of Supreme Court opinions from 2005 to 2009. Contact details of a selection of Thai law firms and legal news stories are also available. The site is maintained by Thai law firm, Chaninat & Leeds.

English Reports

A CommonLII database providing free access to the English Reports, a collection of the most important cases reported between 1220 and 1873. Decisions can be searched or browsed by case name or date and downloaded in PDF format. Data has been supplied by online legal publisher, Justis. The Commonwealth Legal Information Institute (CommonLII) is a collaborative service providing free access to primary legal materials from Commonwealth and common law countries and territories.

LawCite

LawCite is an international case citator developed by AustLII, the Australasian Legal Information Institute. It is a searchable index to millions of cases, journal articles and law reform reports. The main focus is on common law jurisdictions, including numerous Commonwealth countries, Ireland, the United States and Hong Kong. Links to the full text are given, where available. Cases can be searched by citation, parties, court, jurisdiction and date; journal articles can be searched by keywords in the title and author.

Uganda Legal Information Institute

The Uganda Legal Information Institute (ULII) provided by the Law Reporting Unit of the Uganda Judiciary. A member of the global Free Access to Law movement, it provides cases from the Uganda Supreme Court, Constitutional Court, Court of Appeal, High Courts, Commercial Court and other courts and tribunals, along with the legislation (in force and repealed), parliamentary debates and the Uganda Government Gazette.

Tribunal Constitucional del Peru

Official website of the Constitutional Court of Peru. The site contains information about the Court and gives profiles of the judges. Provides judgments, the Constitution and associated legislation. Links are given to the website of the Court Gazette and to the Centre for Constitutional Studies of the Constitutional Court , the research and academic arm of the Court. The site is in Spanish

Poder Judicial de Puerto Rico

Official website of the Judiciary of Puerto Rico. The site has information aimed at judges, citizens, lawyers and law students and there are sections giving background to the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal, the Court of First Instance and the administration of the courts. There is organisational information about the Judiciary along with details of the judges and the work of the Judicial Academy.
