Landmark Supreme Court cases

Collection of twenty US Supreme Court cases that feature on US high school and middle school social studies curriculums, accompanied by teaching materials. Developed by the Supreme Court Historical Society and Street Law, the site provides case summaries,  excerpts from the majority and dissenting opinions, newspaper and courtroom accounts of the cases, chronologies, links to related websites and a glossary.

Cour de Justice Benelux

The Benelux Court of Justice came into being in 1974, with the role of ensuring consistent application of laws common to Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg and hearing disputes relating to the civil service of the Benelux economic union. The Court's website provides a register of past and forthcoming cases and the text of all judgments and decisions. The Court's founding treaty, rules of procedure and other constitutional documents are also available, under 'Documents de base'. Background information about the Court is given, plus a list of its officers.

Judicial Branch of the State of New Hampshire

Official website of the New Hampshire judiciary in the United States. Has information about the courts of New Hampshire, including the Supreme Court, the Superior Court, the District Courts, the Probate Court, the Family Division and the Office of Mediation and Arbitration. Each section provides background information outlining the functions and jurisdiction of each court, details of justices, opinions (if available), court rules and forms to download. There is a section for lawyers, covering admission to the New Hampshire Bar and other professional matters.

NSW Caselaw

Judgments and decisions of New South Wales courts and tribunals, provided by the Department of Communities and Justice of New South Wales. Cases can be browsed by court, date or case name and there are basic and advanced search facilities.

CODICES

The CODICES database was created by the European Commission for Democracy through Law (Venice Commission). It provides key judgments from the constitutional courts of European countries, the European Court of Human Rights and the Court of Justice of the European Union. There is background information on each constitutional court, with details of powers, composition and organisation, as well as basic texts relating to the court. The constitutions of all member states of the Council of Europe and national laws relating to constitutional courts are also given.

Judiciary of Rwanda

Website of the Rwandan judiciary, with information about the court system, court administration, ADR and online case filing. Covers the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal, High Court, commercial courts, intermediate courts and other courts. Provides the Rwanda Law Reports (in English and Kinyarwanda), unreported decisions (in Kinyarwanda), and cause lists (mostly in Kinyarwanda) for the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal, High Court, commercial courts and other courts. Unreported decisions can be accessed using the search facility for the Rwanda Law Reports.

ItalgiureWeb

Subscription website consisting of thirty databases of Italian case law, legislation, codes and commentary, provided by the Italian Ministry of Justice. The content is available in Italian only, but the site offers English and French interfaces.

Guide to legal research in the Dominican Republic

Online guide to the law and legal materials of the Dominican Republic written by Marisol Florén-Romero who is Assistant Director for Library Services and Foreign & International Law Librarian at Florida International University. The guide was published in 2007 (and updated in 2022) on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law. The guide provides background information on the history and legal system of the Dominican Republic.
