Constitution of Qatar

Electronic copy of the 2003 Constitution of Qatar made freely available online by the Qatar Government Communications Office. The Constitution is provided in English in PDF and has been amended up to 2024. There are chapters on the state and principles of government, basic pillars of society, public rights and duties and the organisation of powers including the role of the Amir and legislative, executive and judicial powers.

Ghana legal information institute

The Ghana Legal Information Institute (GhaLII) provides free access to Ghanaian legislation and court decisions and other legal material. The Legislation section includes current and repealed acts, plus subsidiary legislation. The Judgments section has cases from 1963 onwards, covering the Court of Appeal, High Court and Supreme Court of Ghana. GhaLII also includes the Ghana Gazette, Commercial and Industrial Bulletin, and Local Government Bulletin, African Union publications and ECOWAS material .

 

Global-regulation

Global regulation offers English language machine translations of laws from 95 countries. The full service requires a subscription, however there is a limited offering of free searches. A simple search is available from the home page; once a simple search has been run, it is possible to access advanced search options. The advanced search offers Boolean connectors and allows users to weight the importance of terms. It is possible to filter results by country and/or year. Searching is only available in English, but it is possible to view the original language version of a translated law.

Constitution of Venezuela

Electronic copy of the 1999 Constitution of Venezuela, amended up to 2009, and made freely available online by the Comparative Constitutions Project at the University of Texas at Austin. The Constitution can be viewed in PDF or HTML formats and includes chapters on duties, human rights and guarantees and on public power which includes legislative, executive, judicial, citizen and electoral powers.

Epravo

The website of Epravo, a Czech legal publisher, provides a wide range of Czech legal material, including news, legislation, cases, and articles on various areas of law. The site is available in Czech only.

Constitution of the Republic of North Macedonia

Electronic copy of the 1991 Constitution of North Macedonia, amended up to 2011, and made freely available online by the Comparative Constitutions Project at the University of Texas at Austin. The Constitution can be viewed in PDF or HTML formats and includes chapters on the basic freedoms and rights of the individual, the organisation of government, the constitutional court and international relations.

Electronic copy of the 1996 Constitution of Oman made freely available online by the Comparative Constitutions Project at the University of Texas at Austin. The Constitution is provided in PDF and is amended up to 2011. There are chapters on the Omani system of government, the rights and duties of citizens, and on the role of the Head of State, the Majlis Oman and the judiciary.
