Legal Normative Documents

Database of full-text Vietnamese laws (including the 1992 constitution amended up to 2001) made freely available online by the Vietnam Ministry of Justice. The documents (including decrees, circulars, ordinances and codes) can be searched by keyword and browsed by date, type and department. There is also an advanced search option. The site is available in Vietnamese with an English interface and a number of documents translated into English.

Legal Frameworks for Nuclear Activities

This part of the Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA) site provides information on the legal frameworks for nuclear activities in OECD and NEA member and partner countries. Country profiles cover a range of topics including the regulatory regime, regulatory authorities and advisory bodies. There is information on nuclear installations, radioactive waste management, radioactive substances and equipment, non-proliferation and transport. Links are given to primary legislation and to other NEA publications. The NEA is part of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

Afriwise

Afriwise is a subscription website providing legal information on a range of African countries including laws, regulations, legal news and guidance. Topics covered include employment, immigration, competition, environmental, intellectual property and taxation law. 

Official internet portal for legal information

Legal information website provided by the Russian government. The portal provides browseable and searchable official versions of Russian legislation, resolutions, orders and treaties, and decisions of the Russian Constitutional Court, under ‘Официальное опубликование’ (‘Oficialʹnoe opublikovanie’ / ‘Official publication’, the tab next to the ‘Home’ button).

Laws of Botswana

Website providing access to Botswana legislation. This is a subscription site provided by Blackhall publishing. The aim is to offer subscribers principle and subsidiary legislation in force, fully consolidated and annotated. The laws are available back to 1890 and can be browsed alphabetically or by date and searched by keyword. The contents of the acts and some extracts are free to view.

Constitution of Botswana

Electronic copy of the 1966 Botswana Constitution made freely available online by the Comparative Constitutions Project at the University of Texas at Austin. The Constitution is provided in PDF and is amended up to 2016. There are chapters on fundamental rights and freedoms, citizenship, and the role of the Executive, Parliament and the Judiciary.

Ley Chile

Chilean legislation website, provided free of charge by the Library of the Chilean National Congress. Includes the current and historical Chilean codes and constitutions, treaties ratified by Chile and a collection of important individual laws arranged by subject. Simple and advanced search facilities are available, or the site can be browsed by collection (Constitutions, Codes, Treaties, or Laws by Subject). The entire site is in Spanish.  

Constitution of Ghana

Electronic copy of the 1992 Ghanaian Constitution made freely available online by the Comparative Constitutions Project at the University of Texas at Austin. The Constitution is provided in PDF and is amended up to 1996. There are chapters on fundamental rights, representation of the people, the role of the executive, legislature and judiciary along with the freedom of the media, public services, local government and the chieftaincy.

Constitution of Qatar

Electronic copy of the 2003 Constitution of Qatar made freely available online by the Comparative Constitutions Project at the University of Texas at Austin. The Constitution is provided in PDF and includes chapters on the state and principles of government, basic pillars of society, public rights and duties and the organisation of powers including the role of the prince and legislative, executive and judicial powers.

Constitution of Switzerland

Electronic copy of the 1999 Swiss Constitution made freely available online by the Comparative Constitutions Project at the University of Texas at Austin. The Constitution is provided in PDF and is amended up to 2014. There are chapters on fundamental rights, the role of the confederation, cantons and communes and the federal authorities.
