Municipal Code Corporation online library

Municipal Code Corporation is a company publishing United States municipal, city and county codes and providing online access to these documents via their subscription website Municode.com. This service includes a free online library providing access to full text Codes of Ordinances, minutes and local government charters for a selection of city governments. These are arranged by state and can be accessed using a clickable map. Contact addresses and web links are also given for each city government. Other documents can be purchased on the site.

Migration Law Database

The Migration Law Database is made freely available online by the International Organization for Migration, an inter-governmental body providing services and advice to governments and migrants. The database provides access to full text international, regional and national laws relating to migration and can be browsed or searched by keyword. The basic search option covers the title, document number, date of adoption and a selection of subject categories including asylum, children, deportation, diasporas, extradition, indigenous peoples, migrant workers, nationality and repatriation.

Somaliland Law

Website providing information on the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Somaliland. Somaliland is a breakaway territory established in the north of Somalia in 1991 that is not currently recognised by the international community. Somaliland Law is edited by UK-based lawyer Ibrahim Hashi Jama. It offers a profile of Somaliland and articles and commentary relating to Somaliland law. The Constitutions of 1991 and 1960 are available, with details of developments in constitutional law.

Basic Law Drafting History Online

Compilation of information and documents from the drafting history of the Hong Kong's Basic Law (constitution), provided by of the Centre for Comparative and Public Law and the University of Hong Kong Libraries. Materials are arranged into the following sections: Drafting Materials; News Coverage; the LEGCO Database and Textual History.

Freelaw is the official website providing legislation of Saskatchewan, including acts, regulations, court rules and historical legislation. The content can be searched using simple and advanced search options, or browsed by subject or legislation type.

Charter of the United Nations

This site provides free access to the official charter of the United Nations.The Charter of the United Nations was signed on 26 June 1945, in San Francisco, at the conclusion of the United Nations Conference on International Organization, and came into force on 24 October 1945. The Statute of the International Court of Justice is an integral part of the Charter.It sets out the purpose, main organs and role of the United Nations. The website also offers a history of the charter and details about amendments and signatories.

Constitution of Spain

English-language version of the Spanish Constitution, as amended, on the website of the Spanish Senate. The Constitution was adopted in 1978 and has sections dealing with fundamental rights and duties, the role of the Crown, the Cortes Generales, the Government and the Judiciary. There are also chapters covering the economy and finance, organisation of the state and the Constitutional Court.

Legislation of the Northwest Territories

The website of the Department of Justice in the Canadian Northwest Territories provides consolidated primary and secondary legislation, updated monthly. Basic and advanced search facilities are available, or users can browse the legislation by title (under "Alphabetical Search"). The Northwest Territories Rules of Court and the Northwest Territories Gazette (2006 - ) can be found via the same web page. The website has an English and a French version and all the documents provided are bilingual.
