Corporate Affairs and Intellectual Property Office Legislation

This web page provides a list of the legislation administered by the Barbados Corporate Affairs and Intellectual Property Office (CAIPO). CAIPO is the government department with responsibility for the registration and incorporation of companies and the registration of patents, trade marks, industrial designs and other intellectual property rights. Legislation is grouped under the following headings: general; corporate affairs; intellectual property and conventions. There is a summary of each law and some of these have a link to the full text.

Constitution of Tonga

Online version of the 1875 Constitution of Tonga (amended up to 1988) on PacLII, the Pacific Islands Legal Information Institute website. PacLII is a joint initiative involving the University of the South Pacific and the Australasian Legal Information Institute.

Conditions of Work and Employment Database

This legal database is a collection of employment and conditions of employment laws made freely available by the Conditions of Work and Employment Programme (TRAVAIL) at the International Labour Organization (ILO). The database is organised into three sections covering maternity protection, minimum wages and working time. Legislation relating to maternity protection covers maternity leave, protection from discrimination and health protection.

Saudi laws compendium

Searchable collection of Saudi Arabian laws in English translation, provided by the Bureau of Experts of the Saudi Council of Ministers. The database contains the Basic Laws - including the Basic Law of Governance, the Law of Provinces, the Law of the Shura Council and the Law of the Council of Ministers - and other Saudi laws and regulations (scroll down and click on 'Translated document').

VictimLaw

Website of VictimLaw an online information source on victims' rights in the United States provided by the National Center for Victims of Crime. The site provides access to a database of full text federal and state laws, tribal laws, constitutional amendments, court rules and court decisions relating to victimsã rights. The database uses a guided search facility where the user can search by topic (the nine core victims' rights), jurisdiction, keyword or citation.

Constitution of Bhutan

Electronic copy of the 2008 Constitution of Bhutan made freely available online by the Comparative Constitutions Project at the University of Texas at Austin. The Constitution has sections on citizenship and the rights and duties of citizens. There are also articles on the role of the monarchy, an outline of the governmental system and the functions of various other official bodies.

Selected laws of Bhutan are available here on the AsianLII (Asian Legal Information Institute) website. They can be browsed alphabetically by title, or by date. AsianLII is a free access to law initiative led by AustLII (the Australasian Legal Information Institute).
