India Code

Free web database containing the text of the acts of the Parliament for India from 1834 to date. The site also features lists of central acts, updated acts and a chronological status table for acts. The database may be searched by short title, year, act number, or keyword. Guidance on searching and the legislative drafting process are provided. The website also includes links to the Constitution of India, court websites and government departments.

Alberta Statutes and Regulations

A CanLII database containing Consolidated Statutes and Regulations of Alberta province in Canada. A collection query form supports full-text and title searches with Boolean functionality and collection selection options. An alphabetical jump index gives access to title browse lists. CanLII, the Canadian Legal Information Institute, is a key service providing free access to Canadian primary legal materials. The service has been designed by LexUM at the University of Montreal (using software developed by AustLII) on the initiative of the Federation of Law Societies of Canada.

United Kingdom Legislation

A web database, forming part of the British and Irish Legal Information Institute (BAILII) service, containing the full-text of unconsolidated statutes made by the United Kingdom Parliament from 1988 to date. Full text revised primary legislation from 1267 onwards is provided from the UK Statute Law Database (SLD) database. An alphabetical browsing menu links to legislation listed by title, complemented by comprehensive search options. BAILII is a collaborative service aiming to provide free access to primary legal materials for the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.

Historical Laws of Hong Kong

Historical laws of Hong Kong, scanned from the original print sources, provided by University of Hong Kong Libraries. The contents are derived from the revised consolidations of Hong Kong laws from 1901, 1912, 1923, 1937, 1950 and 1964 (last updated to 1989). The laws are searchable  by chapter or ordinance number, title and edition; individual editions may be browsed by ordinance title. 

Hong Kong Ordinances

A web database containing current English language ordinances for Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, available on HKLII, the Hong Kong Legal Information Institute service. The system includes options to search ordinances and search ordinance titles. A contents table enables users to browse the collection alphabetically by title. Links to an English Subject Index to Ordinances and Historical Laws Index are also provided.

Anguilla Financial Services Legislation

Collection of legislation relating to the regulation of financial services in Anguilla, a British dependent territory in the Caribbean, provided online by the Anguilla Financial Services Commission. Includes acts and regulations relating to the Financial Services Commission, the Anguilla Utility Token Offering and Utility Tokens Exchange, money laundering, banking, trusts, companies, insurance, mutual funds and non-profit organisations. 

Act On The Autonomy Of Åland

The Act on the Autonomy of Åland (in Swedish), on the website of the legislative Assembly of the Åland Islands. Åland lies between Finland and Sweden. The Act of Autonomy first came into force in 1922; it was completely revised in 1951 and 1993 and is available here as last amended on July 12 1996. Although it is not equivalent to a constitution, it is described as "constitutional in nature".

Commercial arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution methods

Collection of national laws and other information relating to commercial arbitration and alternative dispute resolution methods, on the website of the Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA). The collection covers countries in North, Central and South America and the Caribbean. It includes the texts of national laws and guidelines. For some countries, a document called "Responses to Arbitration Questionnaire" is available, giving an overview of the arbitration law for that country and saying to which relevant conventions it is a party.

Legislation On-Line

A collection Isle of Man legislation prepared by the Isle of Man Attorney General's Chambers. Includes acts in force, repealed acts and orders in council in force. Also provides recent secondary legislation (2000 onwards) as originally made. The website is under development and a disclaimer warns that there may be errors in the legislative texts. The instruments can be browsed chronologically or alphabetically; there are also basic and advanced search facilities. The Isle of Man is a self-governing dependency of the British Crown and is not part of the United Kingdom.
