Constitution of Afghanistan

This site contains the full-text of the 2004 Afghanistan Constitution which is made freely available in English by International Constitutional Law (ICL) at the University of Bern in Switzerland. This ICL edition is an unofficial version of the Constitution which was adopted by the Loya Jirga (Grand Council) on 3 Jan 2004. The Constitution describes the powers of the state, the rights and duties of the citizens and the role and functions of the President, the National Assembly, the Loya Jirga and the Government.

Spam Laws

Spam Laws is a subscription website focusing on laws in the United States, Europe and other countries relating to unsolicited commercial email (spam). The US legal materials include proposed and enacted federal and state laws along with selected cases. Europe and other countries are listed by country with links to a variety of legal materials including legislation, reports, websites, EU directives, position papers and surveys. Other sections deal with and give guidance on identity theft, phishing, scams and spyware. Some content is made freely available. Spam Laws is maintained by Atara Media.

Roman Law Library

Collection of Roman laws made available via the University of Grenoble website. The site was founded by Alexandre Koptev and Yves Lassard and has contributors from many different European universities. The laws are available in full, in Latin, with French and English translations. The site also provides bibliographies of Roman history and law and a page of links.

Parliament of Trinidad and Tobago

This is the official parliament website of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. It provides background information about the House of Representatives and Senate and their committees, together with news and publications. Hansard is available from 1990 onwards and acts from 1999 onwards. The current and previous constitutions of Trinidad and Tobago are also on the site, and there is information about the progress of current bills.

Hong Kong Gazette

Free online version of the official gazette of Hong Kong, in English and Chinese. The Hong Kong Gazette publishes ordinances, regulations, bills, tenders and official notices. Both the main Gazette and its supplements are provided on the website. Issues may be browsed by date, or searched by key word. The Gazette is produced by the Printing Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China.

Regulations.gov

Regulations.gov allows US citizens to access and comment upon every final and proposed regulation currently open for consideration in the US government legal newspaper 'The Federal Register'. These cover all aspects of economic, social and political legislation. It is possible to search by document type (such as public submissions, notices or rules), date, agency and docket type. Each entry gives a link to the text of the regulation and submitted comments can be read. Documents can be viewed in full text PDF or HTML.

Disability Discrimination Laws Country Index

Online collection of disability discrimination laws from around the world made freely available on the Disability Rights Education and Defense Fund (DREDF) Website. The site lists more than 50 countries who have enacted anti-discrimination laws relating to people with disabilities. Most of the laws are given in full but some entries have just the sections relevant to disability discrimination. Translations (sometimes in the form of summaries) are given for non-English materials along with a source for the translation. The site also provides a list of sources for the various laws.

Costa Rica Law

Established in 1997 by lawyer Roger A. Petersen, this site gives an English-language overview of the law of Costa Rica, with links to legislation (in Spanish). It also covers the economy, politics, demography and other subjects. The information is intended primarily for individuals and businesses with an interest in moving to, or operating in, the country. The Legal Topics section outlines more than twenty subjects, including banking law, civil law, consumer protection, criminal law, immigration, marriage and family law, and working in Costa Rica.
