Cour de Justice Benelux

The Benelux Court of Justice came into being in 1974, with the role of ensuring consistent application of laws common to Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg and hearing disputes relating to the civil service of the Benelux economic union. The Court's website provides a register of past and forthcoming cases and the text of all judgments and decisions. The Court's founding treaty, rules of procedure and other constitutional documents are also available, under 'Documents de base'. Background information about the Court is given, plus a list of its officers.

Privacy - OECD

Section of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) website devoted to its work on privacy. An overview of the policy area is provided, together with links to documents including the OECD Privacy Guidelines; the 2022 'Declaration on government access to personal data held by private sector entities'; and the 2007 'Recommendation on co-operation in cross-border enforcement of privacy law'. The OECD website is available in English and French.

Ministère de la Justice, République Algérienne Démocratique et Populaire

Website of the Algerian Ministry of Justice, with information about the Algerian judicial system and the work of the Ministry. There are links to online services for lawyers and the public, together with information about the training of magistrates, advocates, notaries and other officials. Details are given of Algeria's cooperation with the UN, the EU and the Arab League as well as its ratification of human rights instruments. Press releases are also available. The site is available in Arabic or French.

LegiRwanda: Lexbase

Official Rwanda law portal, providing laws, orders and regulations in force, arranged by subject, and selected decisions of the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal, High Court and Commercial High Court. There are basic and advanced search facilities and the site is available in Kinyarwanda, French and English.

Judiciary of Rwanda

Website of the Rwandan judiciary, with information about the court system, court administration, ADR and online case filing. Covers the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal, High Court, commercial courts, intermediate courts and other courts. Provides the Rwanda Law Reports (in English and Kinyarwanda), unreported decisions (in Kinyarwanda), and cause lists (mostly in Kinyarwanda) for the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal, High Court, commercial courts and other courts. Unreported decisions can be accessed using the search facility for the Rwanda Law Reports.

European Legal Studies Institute

The European Legal Studies Institute (ELSI) is a research department of the Faculty of Law at the University of Osnabrück in Germany. It focuses on comparative law and the harmonisation of law within the European Union. The website provides details of research projects and staff of the institute. Publications are available, including the Institute's Research Paper Series. The site can be viewed in English or German.

Information and documentation relating to the business and company law of Bénin, provided by French law and tax publisher Droit-Afrique. Gives details of pan-African organisations to which Bénin belongs. Includes selected laws of Bénin, together with official texts of OHADA and other organisations. The page also lists links to government and law websites.

Information and documentation relating to the business and company law of Burkina Faso, provided by French law and tax publisher Droit-Afrique. The site gives details of pan-African organisations of which Burkina Faso is a member and provides customs, commercial, company, employment and town planning laws of Burkina Faso. There is a page of links to the websites of African organisations and other sites providing legal information on Burkina Faso. The site is in French only.
