American Society for Legal History

The American Society for Legal History seeks to further scholarship, teaching and study relating to all legal systems. ASLH draws its membership from teachers, academics, practitioners and students interested in legal history. Its website has information about publications, including the book series, Studies in Legal History; the journal, Law and History Review; and the ASLH newsletter. The Resources page gives an introduction to the subject of legal history and makes available the society's official statements. The site also includes the podcast, Talking Legal History.

College of Mediators

The College of Mediators, formerly the UK College of Family Mediators, is an independent regulatory body. Its website provides information about mediation and has a searchable directory of mediators. It provides membership information and a list of accredited training providers in the field of mediation. Policy documents and guidelines are also available.

Civil Law Reform Division

Website of the Civil Law Reform Division (CLRD) of the Department of Finance and Personnel in Northern Ireland. This department is responsible for reform of private family law, trusts and property law, tort, contract law and private international law. The site provides details of current projects, downloadable consultation papers and reports and links to related documents such as legislation.

Asia Foundation

The Asia Foundation is an international non-profit organisation based in San Francisco; it seeks to further the mutual interests of the US and the Asia Pacific region. The Foundation's main areas of interest are governance, law, civil society, economic reform and development, international relations and women's political participation. The website gives information about the programmes it funds, news of its activities and events and a list of its publications, many of which are freely available online.

Legal Ethics Research Guide

A guide to legal ethics research prepared by Hyla Bondareff, Research Services Librarian and Lecturer in Law at the Washington University, School of Law Library. This is one of a collection of guides designed to suggest relevant print and electronic sources supporting seminars conducted as part of the teaching programme at the School of Law. Most of the guide is focused on legal ethics resources (books, periodicals, subscription databases) held at the Washington University School of Law Library but includes a list of ethics websites.

Human Rights Research Guide

A guide to human rights research by Hyla Bondareff, Research Services Librarian and Lecturer in Law at the Washington University School of Law Library. Includes links to international human rights resources, key human rights documents, organisations such as the United Nations and the Council of Europe, and online collections of human rights documents are linked to. There are also lists of other human rights resource guides and human rights groups.

Western Australian Information Commissioner Decisions

An AustLII database containing decisions from the Western Australian Information Commissioner from 1994 onwards. Decisions are in full-text HTML format and can be searched or browsed by case name or date. AustLII, the Australasian Legal Information Institute is a collaborative public service developed by the University of Technology to provide free internet access to legislation and cases for Australia.
