Legal Ethics Forum

The Legal Ethics Forum is a blog produced by professors from the University of Texas Law School, Cornell Law School and UC Berkeley School of Law. The site includes discussion and news stories raising legal ethics issues with posts starting from February 2005. Links are provided to other articles and related materials. The site also provides links to other sites dealing with legal ethics including American Bar Association resources, professional organisations, ethics practice sites, academic centres, legal ethics journals and sites dealing with judicial ethics.

Family Law Week

Family Law Week is a site providing information and training on family law issues to the legal profession. The site includes articles, news items and full text judgments. Statutory Instruments are provided back to 2005 along with practice directions and guidance. Monthly newsletters provide a round up of family law developments. Access to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) resources can be bought online and other features include job advertisements and family law web links. The whole site can be searched using a site search engine.

Guernsey Bar

The Website of the Guernsey Bar provides information about Guernsey law and advocates. It has contact details for members and a directory of Guernsey law firms, together with information about the role of an advocate and a history of the Guernsey Bar. There is also advice on instructing an advocate, getting legal aid and making a complaint. The guidance on Guernsey law covers civil proceedings, criminal proceedings and family proceedings. Full-text legislation and links to legislation are also given.

UC Berkeley War Crimes Center

The UC Berkeley War Crimes Center was founded in 2000. It is involved in training judges and monitoring and archiving information relating to war crimes trials. Its website provides information on the purpose and activities of the Center. It includes news about ongong trials plus access to full-text documents relating to specific cases. Topics covered include: the Nuremberg 1945 trials, war crimes tribunals and trials relating to Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Indonesia and East Timor.

Keshilli i Ministrave i Republikes se Shqiperise

Official website of the Albanian Council of Ministers, the executive body made up of the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister and 18 ministers. The site provides biographical information about the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, background information about Albania and a full text copy of the Albanian Constitution. There are news items detailing the activities of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers.

Parliament of Albania

Official website of the Parliament of Albania. Describes the history, role and current activities of the parliament and lists its members, committees and parliamentary groups. Legislation, reports, the record of parliamentary proceedings, committee minutes and other documents are available in Albanian. There is also a section covering Albania's work towards membership of the EU. The site is in English or Albanian but most of the content is in Albanian only.

Air Safety Support International

The website of the Air Safety Support International (ASSI) is an online information resource that aims to provide information about the organisation's role and activities within the framework of civil aviation regulation in the UK Overseas Territories (OTs). As a subsidiary company of the UK Civil Aviation Authority, ASSI's role is to assist and support existing civil aviation authorities in their safety regulation in these territories. A page with a listing of the OTs is provided with links to their websites.

Air Transport Users Council

The website of the Air Transport Users Council (AUC), an online information resource detailing the Council's role and remit. Describing itself as the 'UK's consumer watchdog for the airline industry', the organisation is funded by the Civil Aviation Authority. The site provides information about the Council's members, secretariat and terms of reference within the framework of existing legislation. A section giving full-text access to AUC publications is accessible from the site, files available as PDF files.

Air Accident Investigation Unit

The website of the Air Accident Investigation Unit (AAIU) is an online resource giving access to information about the organisation's role in investigations into aircraft accidents in Ireland. The site includes details of regulations under which it operates. Reports published by the AAIU relating to specific accidents and incidents are published on the site in PDF. These reports are aimed at informing the aviation industry and the public about these events, and are added to the site on completion of the report.

EUROCONTROL

EUROCONTROL, the European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation, is an intergovernmental organisation with more than 40 member states. Its website gives an overview of the organisation's role in Europe's air traffic management and safety strategies, covering both civil and military operations.
