It is edited by students from Gonzaga University School of Law in the US and includes articles, essays and commentary by practitioners, academics, students, business professionals and government officials. It is a federation of national local government associations within Europe who believe that local authorities have a major role to play in European integration. The Equality Commission for Northern Ireland is an independent public body. They have three main duties: to work towards the elimination of sex discrimination; to promote equality of opportunity between women and men; and to keep the legislation under review. This is the only government appointed body in Northern Ireland with statutory power to enforce the Sex Discrimination (Northern Ireland) Order 1976 and the Equal Pay Act (Northern Ireland) 1970 as amended.

The Centre for European Reform (CER) is a UK think-tank that is pro-European in nature, though not uncritical. The website provides information on the Centre's research, events and other activities.
