This is the website of an Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) programme which studied several areas of change and development within contemporary Europe. It ended in 2003. The programme aimed to examine " ... contemporary processes of political, security, economic, social and cultural change across the European continent, notably in relation to influences on convergence and divergence within and between European countries and prospects for integration and fragmentation." The site includes links and articles relating to current actions, public documents relating to ongoing cases and an introduction to the work of this division of the Department of Justice, and links to guidelines and statements on policy towards antitrust in various areas of the economy in the US.
Website of the Historical Archives of the European Union, which is based at the European University Institute in Italy. It consists substantially of bibliographic references to official documents produced by the major EU/EC institutions, including: the European Economic Community, the European Coal and Steel Community, the European Atomic Energy Community, the Council of Ministers, the European Commission and the European Parliament. Despite its name, however, it also covers archives relating to non-EU/EC bodies and archives acquired from individuals.
The Committee of Ministers is the decision-making body of the Council of Europe. It directly represents the governments of the member states. The website contains information about the Committee and its work; it includes texts adopted by the Committee, reports, press releases, factsheets and other publications. The site is in English and French.

The Barbary Treaties were a series of nine agreements concluded by the United States and the Barbary nations of Morocco, Algiers, Tunis and Tripoli, between 1786-1836. This site provides the text of most of these documents, taken from volumes 2 and 3 of 'Treaties and Other International Acts of the United States of America' (US Government Printing Office,1931). An introduction and notes to the treaties by the editor, Hunter Miller, are also available. The information is provided by the Avalon project at Yale University.
The Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants (JCWI) is an independent voluntary organisation which works to achieve justice for immigrants and asylum seekers to the United Kingdom (UK). In particular, it campaigns for reform to existing nationality and immigration law. Its website provides details of its current activities and forthcoming conferences and training events.
