There is a full text copy of the Constitution and the Laws of Botswana. Also available are brief summaries of the key news stories, a few basic economic statistics and notes on the region for tourists.

Euromyths
This site is maintained by the European Commission Representation in the United Kingdom to provide facts about European Union legislation and directives and to undermine any false rumours perpetuated by the British press. It examines newspaper and magazine stories from 1992 onwards. Typical examples include: "the EU is trying to ban Prawn cocktail crisps" and "bagpipes told to pipe down". Each entry makes reference to the actual EU directive involved and provides the facts.
United Nations Chronicle
The United Nations Chronicle is a quarterly magazine published by the United Nations Department of Public Information to provide news to the public about current UN activities. It covers a wide range of topics covering all aspects of United Nations responsibility, including health, economic development, human rights, United Nations reform and peace-keeping operations. Each issue contains articles on current UN activities in the field, interviews with leading UN personnel and first person accounts of situations.
Constitution of Algeria
Electronic copy of the 2020 Constitution of Algeria made freely available online by the Comparative Constitutions Project at the University of Texas at Austin. There are sections on fundamental rights, freedoms and duties, the role of the president, government, parliament and judiciary and the Constitutional court and other oversight institutions.
Avalon Project : Dayton Peace Accords
The Dayton Peace Accords sought to achieve a peaceful settlement to the Balkans conflict in 1995. They relate to the positions of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Republic of Croatia and Yugoslavia. This website, which is available as part of the Avalon Project maintained by Yale University, contains the text of the agreement and its appendixes. The appendixes include letters from Slobodan Milosevic and the US Department of State Dispatch.
Magna Carta : treasures in full
Magna Carta was drawn up in 1215 and is one of the most well-known English official documents. It was produced under the seal of King John and distributed to sheriffs and bishops. The entire document is available on the website of the British Library, together with a translation and some background information.
Criminal Cases Review Commission
The Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC) is the government body which investigates suspected miscarriages of justice in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Its website provides information on the purpose and organisation of the body as well as its ongoing work. The site includes case studies concerning successful CCRC investigations, statistics about case reviews, academic research papers, details of current research projects and information about how to apply for a case review.
Joint Nature Conservation Committee
The Joint Nature Conservation Committee (JNCC) is the forum through which the four British country nature conservation agencies (Council for Nature Conservation and the Countryside, The Countryside Council for Wales, Natrual England and Scottish Natural Heritage) deliver their national and international responsibilities. These responsibilities include: sustaining and enriching biological diversity; enhancing geological features; and sustaining natural systems. JNCC's work is split into two broad categories, namely, advisory and project-based.
