Law and Contemporary Problems is a scholarly journal which has been published by Duke University School of Law since 1933. Each issue is devoted to a particular topic of contemporary interest, usually with an interdisciplinary perspective. The current issue and past issues from 1996(3) onwards are freely available on the website.

Journal of Health Politics, Policy and Law

The Journal of Health Politics, Policy and Law is a multidisciplinary print publication produced quarterly by Duke University, USA. Articles contain original scholarship on matters embracing political science, economics, history, sociology, health services, research, philosophy and ethics. The journal also includes book reviews, comments, news and notes. The website offers contents listings and article abstracts from volume 20, 1995, onwards. In addition the site features 20 year cumulative author and subject indexes covering 1976-1995.

IDEA: The Intellectual Property Law Review

Website of IDEA: The Intellectual Property Law Review (previously the Journal of Law and Technology) published by the Franklin Pierce Law Center, New Hampshire, USA. The journal publishes articles from around the world on topics such as US domestic and international patent law, copyright, trademark, trade secrets, unfair competition and related intellectual property issues. The website presents the full-text of articles from 1957 to 2002. Instructions to authors, information about the editorial board and subscription rates are given on the site.

Avalon Project : the Inter-American System : Agreements, Conventions and Other Documents

This site forms part of the Avalon Project maintained by Yale University Law School. It provides access to a large number of full-text primary resource documents relating to international relations in the Inter-American system, encompassing Central America, Latin America, South America and the United states. These include the charter of the Organization of American States (OAS) 1948, extradition, solidarity and cooperation treaties. All material is arranged alphabetically.

Avalon Project : American Diplomacy : multilateral treaties and agreements

This site is maintained as part of Project Avalon which is organised by Yale University Law School. It offers access to the full-text of a large number of international treaties signed by the United States from 1863 to the present day. They include: the Hague Convention for the Settlement of International Disputes, the Geneva Convention for the Treatment of Prisoners of War and the 1944 Armistice Agreements which ended the second world war. The material is arranged alphabetically.

New York University Journal of International Law and Politics

Founded in 1968 with the aid of a Ford Foundation Grant, the New York University Journal of International Law and Politics (JILP) features articles on international legal topics by leading scholars and practitioners, as well as notes, case comments and book annotations. JILP publishes four issues per year on diverse topics in both public and private international law. From volume 36 (2003/04) onwards each article is available in full, free of charge. For earlier volumes (back to vol. 26), contents lists are provided, with links to abstracts of some articles.

Columbia Law Review

Founded in 1901, the Columbia Law Review is a an independent non-profit corporation edited and published entirely by students at Columbia Law School. Eight issues are published each year. Articles deal with a wide variety of legal issues and jurisdictions, with an emphasis on US and international affairs. The website offers the full text of articles from the current and past three issues, together with contents pages and article summaries from previous issues (back to 1998/99).

Amicus Curiae

Amicus Curiae is the official journal of both the Society for Advanced Legal Studies and the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, University of London. It aims to promote scholarship and research that involves academics, the legal profession and those engaged in the administration of law. The journal began publication in 1997. The print version is published 6 times a year by the Society for Advanced Legal Studies (formerly by Sweet and Maxwell). The website includes tables of contents, notes for authors and information concerning the Society for Advanced Legal Studies.

Cardozo Law Review

Online version of the student edited journal published by the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City, USA. Articles, notes and symposia cover a range of legal subjects including civil rights, constitutional law, legal ethics and US securities regulations. Six issues are published each year. Contents pages are available from vol.1, 1979 onwards and full text articles from vol.26 onwards can be downloaded in PDF.
