Website of the Malaysian Bar Council. The site includes details of the members of the Bar Council, the various committees, contacts for the state bar committees and details of the Council's conferences and events. The site contains professional information including guidance to qualifying as an advocate and solicitor in Malaysia, legislation concerning the legal profession, Bar Council rulings and practice directions back to 1946. The site has information on the Bar's disciplinary powers and there is a searchable directory of lawyers, law firms and legal aid centres.

Association of Personal Injury Lawyers

The Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) is a UK-based organisation for lawyers of all types, and law students. Its website provides information for members of the public who have suffered an injury, a searchable directory of personal injury lawyers, APIL's responses to government consultations, information about its parliamentary work and particular campaigns, details of product recalls and other information. Parts of the site are restricted to APIL members only.

Guide to the Tunisian legal system

Online research guide by Dahmene Touchent, who manages the Algerian website LEXALGERIA, updated by Khalil Mechantaf an Attorney at Law in Beirut, Lebanon. The guide was published in 2005 (and updated in 2010) on New York University's Globalex website. The author presents an overview of the Tunisian legal system covering the role and functions of the President, Government, Prime Minister and Parliament. There are sections on judicial power, the court system and other authorities including the Constitutional Council.

AccessToLaw

AccessToLaw is a collection of annotated legal links compiled by the Inner Temple Library and made freely available on their website. Resources linked to on the site cover United Kingdom law, Commonwealth countries and other jurisdictions, a selection of legal subjects and general resources. The section covering United Kingdom law includes links to sources of case law, legislation, local government and court information. The collection of broad subject headings includes banking, criminal law, employment law, human rights, international law, planning, property and taxation.

Access to New Zealand Law

A free online research guide focusing on New Zealand law and legal materials written by Margaret Greville who is the Law Librarian at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand. The guide was published in 2005 (and updated in 2014) on the Globalex Website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law. Background information is given to the New Zealand Government and legal system along with sources of primary legal information including treaties, legislation and case law.

Performing legal research: the Moldovan experience

An online research guide to the Moldovan legal system written by Mariana Harjevschi and Svetlana Andritchi from the Public Law Library in Chisinau, Moldova. The guide is published on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law. The authors give background and historical information to the legal system of Moldova covering the Constitution and the Constitutional Court. The role of the President, legislative, executive and judicial powers are also included.

World Law : Spain

Page of the World Legal Information Institute (WorldLII) website containing links to internet resources for Spanish law. The links are divided into categories such as courts and case law, government, introductions to Spanish law, lawyers, legislation and Parliament; additional areas include alternative dispute resolution, civil law, competition law, criminal law, indigenous law, intellectual property and telecommunications. WorldLII was created by the Australasian Legal Information Institute as a public service.

Albanian Legal Information Initiative

Website of the Albanian Legal Information Initiative, which is based in the Chicago-Kent College of Law at Illinois Institute of Technology. The initiative is part of the 'Rule of Law Through Technology' project, which seeks to increase access to legal information in Albania. The site describes the project and provides a selection of Albanian legal resources, including various treaties and statutes (in French and Turkish), the Albanian Criminal Code and the Criminal Procedural Code (both in English). Parts of the site are password-protected.

Azerbaijan Law Guide

A freely available annotated research guide to Azerbaijan Internet sources compiled by the Law Library of Congress in Washington DC. Categories include subjects such as constitution, executive, judicial, legislative and legal guides. There is also a section which includes links to sites giving general and human rights information on Azerbaijan.

JURIST legal news and research

JURIST is a legal news site edited by Professor Bernard Hibbetts and hosted at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in the United States. The site is produced by staff and students at the law school and is aimed at the legal community with emphasis given to highlighting the latest legal developments, judicial decisions and primary source materials. There are sections focusing on United States, world news and an archive of news stories going back to 2003.
