It is produced by international law firm Pinsent Masons. The online guides are grouped by business area, including consultancy, e-commerce, games and media. Guide to the legal system of the United Arab Emirates, by academic Ahmed Aly Khedr and UAE government lawyer Bassam Alnuaimi, on New York University's Globalex website. The guide was published in 2014 and updated in 2024 and gives background information about the United Arab Emirates, an outline of its legal system, summary of the influence of Sharia law in the UAE, and highlights the main provisions of the Constitution. The authors provide a description of how laws are made and links are given for a selection of laws (mostly in Arabic).
