Southern African Legal Information Institute

The Southern African Legal Information Institute (SAFLII) has been developed by the Wits Law School in South Africa and is hosted by the Constitutional Court of South Africa. SAFLII provides free access to South African legal materials including judgements of the Constitutional Court of South Africa back to 1995, judgements of the Supreme Court of Appeal of South Africa and decisions of the Land Claims Court of South Africa from 1996. Full text South African consolidated legislation can also be viewed on the site along with publications of the South African Law Commission.

Manupatra

Manupatra is a subscription database providing Indian legal and business information. The database includes full-text judgments available back to 1950 from 22 Courts including the Supreme Court and High Courts of India. There are orders of Tribunals and selected judgements from the English courts and the US Supreme Court. The site also has Indian laws, notifications, circulars and forms. A selection of modules provide legislation, case law, reports, articles and forms on subjects such as intellectual property, taxation, arbitration, corporate laws, human rights and the environment.

Biological Weapons Convention: Collection of National Implementation Legislation

Collection of information about national legislation implementing the 1972 Biological Weapons Convention (BWC). The information is compiled by VERTIC, a non-governmental organisation specialising in the verification and monitoring of international agreements. The collection consists of an alphabetical list of countries; for each, it gives details of relevant laws, with the full text where available.

American Law Institute

Website of the American Law Institute (ALI) a non-profit legal organisation established in 1923 with the aim of clarifying and improving the law. The work of the ALI includes Restatements of the Law, developing the Uniform Commercial Code, law reform and continuing legal education. The website has details of the officers and council members of the ALI along with press releases and annual reports. The Institute's activities and news are included in the ALI Reporter which can be viewed in full-text on the site.

Embassy of the Republic of Haiti in Washington DC

This is the official website of the Haitian Embassy in the United States. It provides access to basic factual information about the economy, business opportunities, culture and society of Haiti. It includes access to press releases from the Haitian government plus links to Haitian government Websites. The press releases contain information on elections, human rights and violence in the region. The Resources section includes some legal material, such as the 1987 Constitution (in Haitian Creole, French and English) and the Haitian electoral and adoption laws (in French).

CrimeLynx

CrimeLynx is a web portal produced by Colorado-based criminal defence attorney Jeralyn Merritt. The site is aimed at criminal defence practitioners and has an emphasis on US law. There is a collection of legal research links, covering Federal criminal statutes, rules and circuit court opinions, Supreme Court materials, criminal defence organisations and resources focusing on the death penalty and computer crime. There are also links to investigative tools and policy organisations.

Constitution of Singapore

Electronic copy of the 1963 Constitution of Singapore (amended up to 2016) made freely available online by the Comparative Constitutions Project at the University of Texas at Austin. The Constitution can be viewed in PDF or HTML formats and covers fundamental liberties and citizenship and the role of the government, judiciary, and legislature.

International Privacy Law Library

This WorldLII project aims to make searchable from one location all of the databases specialising in Privacy and freedom of information (FOI) law available on WorldLII. Databases currently included are taken from CanLII (the Canadian Legal Information Institute), AustLII (the Australasian Legal Information Institute) and BAILII (the British and Irish Legal Information Institute). Material is also included from the Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC).

Scottish Information Commissioner

The Scottish Information Commissioner (SIC) hears appeals regarding Scottish FoI requests and provides information to the public about information rights in Scotland. The SIC website has information about the work of the commissioner and provides guidance, the relevant legislation, appeal decisions and a list of current appeal applications.
