Association des Cours Constitutionnelles Ayant en Partage l'Usage du Français

The ACCPUF (Association des Cours Constitutionnelles Ayant en Partage l'Usage du Français) exists to develop communications and cooperation between Francophone jurisdictions. It carries out its aim by organising conferences, providing training, issuing publications and giving technical assistance, all on the subject of constitutional law. Member countries include Canada, France, Belgium, and Francophone countries in Africa, Europe and Asia.

Constitutional Court of South Africa Decisions

A Southern African Legal Information Institute (SAFLII) database containing decisions of the Constitutional Court of South Africa from 1995 onwards. Decisions are listed alphabetically by party name and chronologically by year, and the site offers a sophisticated search engine. The database includes materials provided by the Constitutional Court of South Africa and the Wits Law School. SAFLII is a collaborative legal information system, providing free South African legal information.

First Amendment Handbook

Electronic version of a handbook outlining provisions and interpretations of the First Amendment of the United States Constitution. The First Amendment protects freedom of religion, free speech, free press and rights of assembly and petition in the United States.

Act On The Autonomy Of Åland

The Act on the Autonomy of Åland (in Swedish), on the website of the legislative Assembly of the Åland Islands. Åland lies between Finland and Sweden. The Act of Autonomy first came into force in 1922; it was completely revised in 1951 and 1993 and is available here as last amended on July 12 1996. Although it is not equivalent to a constitution, it is described as "constitutional in nature".

Basic Law Drafting History Online

Website providing information and materials from the drafting history of the Basic Law of Hong Kong. The site is a joint project of the Centre for Comparative and Public Law and the University of Hong Kong Libraries. Materials are arranged into the following sections: Drafting Materials; News Coverage; the LEGCO Database and Textual History.

Constitution of Bhutan

Electronic copy of the 2008 Constitution of Bhutan made freely available online by the Comparative Constitutions Project at the University of Texas at Austin. The Constitution has sections on citizenship and the rights and duties of citizens. There are also articles on the role of the monarchy, an outline of the governmental system and the functions of various other official bodies.

Website of the Harvard Law and Policy Review, the journal of the American Constitution Society for Law and Policy (ACS), run by students at Harvard Law School.T he whole series is available on an open access basis, 2007 onwards. The website also provides details of the editorial staff, the board of advisers and submissions policy.  The ACS is an educational organisation of lawyers, law students, scholars, judges and policymakers concerned with promoting progressive law and policy in the United States. 

American Constitution Society for Law and Policy

The American Constitution Society for Law and Policy (ACS) is a non-profit, educational organisation of lawyers, law students, scholars, judges and policymakers concerned with promoting progressive law and policy in the United States. Its website includes organisational information and news and a blog, together with details of ACS research projects. Briefings, reports, articles and other publications are available; other resources include videos of ACS events.

Basic Law of Hong Kong

This Hong Kong government website makes available the Basic Law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China (HKSAR). The Basic Law came into effect on 1 July 1997 when China resumed sovereignty over Hong Kong. As well as providing the text of the law, the site has background information about it and outlines its general principles.
