LawTroves

LawTroves are a selection of legal resource guides compiled by United States law firm Swiggart & Agin, LLC. The guides are focused on Massachusetts law and cover bankruptcy, corporate law, real estate and trademark and domain names. Each LawTrove provides access to FAQs, legislation, organisations, reading lists and other legal resources.

The Sunnah: Practice and Law (Shari'ah and Madh'habs)

Resource guide to Islamic law produced by professor Alan Godlas of the Department of Religion at the University of Georgia. Outlines the 'Five Pillars of Islam' providing background information, quotes from the Qur'an and annotated links to online resources dealing with each theme. There is also background and links to information about the sunnah (practice of the prophet Muhammad) and the Sunni madh'hab (schools of law). A selection of links to other articles and materials on Islamic law is also given.

One Archives

The One Archives, University of Southern California Libraries, holds the world's largest collection of published and unpublished LGBTQ+ material. Its website provides collection overviews and online catalogues, events information and news.

Karamah: Muslim Women Lawyers for Human Rights

Karamah: Muslim Women Lawyers for Human Rights is an eduational charity which was initiated in 1993. Karamah seeks to highlight how global human rights issues affect muslims, and supports Muslim communities in America and abroad in the pursuit of justice. The website provides details of the projects Karamah is involved with including one on Islamic jurisprudence and a domestic violence initiative.

Election Law at Ohio State

Election Law at Ohio State is a research, education and outreach programme based at Moritz College of Law at Ohio State University. It focuses on the law relating to United States federal, state and local elections. The site includes a case tracker, with links to court documents, a blog, news items and links to articles on election law. 

GLAD

GLAD is a New England based civil rights organisation working to end discrimination based on sexual orientation. There is background and historical information about GLAD. The 'rights and resources' section has legal guidance for the following states: Massachusetts; Connecticut; Maine; New Hampshire; Rhode Island and Vermont. This covers topics such as discrimination, employment, family law (marriage, adoption, child custody), hate crimes, sex laws and students' rights. There is also information on the rights of people with HIV.

Intellectual Property Society

Web pages of the Intellectual Property Society, a membership organisation whose purpose is to, "increase public awareness of, and participation in, the evolution of intellectual property rights and emerging technologies." The Ipsociety organises events and forums, details of which, appear on the site.The 'readings' section of the site presents articles and presentations by members of the Society which can be viewed in PDF format.

Peace Agreements Digital Collection

The Peace Agreements Digital Collection aims to provide free access to all peace treaties signed since 1989, in both inter- and intra-state conflicts. The collection is maintained by the Jeannette Rankin Program as part of the Margarita S. Studemeister Digital Library in International Conflict Management. It is possible to browse the collection by continent and nation, or to search by key word.

Military Law and Justice is the Website of Philip D. Cave, an United States law firm specialising in military law. The site provides a guide to the rights of US military personnel and links to organisations concerned with military law and justice. There is a comprehensive collection of links to U.S military legal sites including specialist courts, administrative hearing bodies, law reviews and manuals dealing with military justice. The site also includes a bibliography of books and articles concerned with military law and links to external news stories
