Child Labor Coalition is an American website which provides educational materials about children working in agriculture. It explains why many children work in agriculture and why it is so often unhealthy, socially isolating or harmful. Using some emotive descriptions, it describes what life is like for many of these children. It gives a good definition of what is child labour and what is not.

A collection of free e-learning packages by the Advisory Conciliation and Arbitration Service (ACAS), covering matters such as discipline and grievance; managing absence; contracts and written statements; handling redundancy; working parents; bullying and harassment; sexual orientation; religion and belief and age discrimination. Free registration is required to access the courses.

Daniel Barnett

United States-based company providing information on workers' compensation. The site is for employers, employees and workers' compensation professionals. The information is arranged by state and includes free e-books, statutes, rules and forms along with factual information covering insurance requirements, benefits, attorney fees, statistics and contact information. News and legislative updates are also available.

Equal Opportunity Commission of South Australia

Official website of the Equal Opportunity Commission of South Australia. The site provides guidance and case studies to equal opportunity and human rights laws in Australia and South Australia. There are sections aimed at individuals, employers and schools with background information on discrimination including full text laws for Australia and South Australia.The section for employers includes guidance and checklists to the responsibilities of businesses and service providers for managing equal opportunities and dealing with complaints.

Public Justice

Washington DC-based non-profit law firm, founded in 1982 and formerly known as Trial Lawyers for Public Justice. Public Justice brings cases to counter abuses of corporate power, the undermining of civil rights/civil liberties and threats to the environment. Its website has details of its work, including a list of cases, with legal briefs and opinions (judgments) attached. A podcast and a blog are available and there is a sign-up form for the Public Justice newsletter.
