Epseme Ephemerida

Online version of Epseme Ephemerida tes Kypriakes Demokratias, the Cyprus Government Gazette (or Official Gazette), provided by the Cypriot Government Printing Office on the website of the Ministry of Finance. The Gazette publishes official notices, legislation, international agreements, decisions of the Council of Ministers and other documentation. It is available here from December 2004 onwards, in Greek (although some of the treaties – in Supplement 7 - are in English/other languages).

American State Papers

Searchable and browseable digitised version of the thirty-eight volume publication, ‘American State Papers’, containing US congressional legislative and executive documents from the period 1789 to 1838. Forms part of the Library of Congress’ American Memory website.

Stamp duty and other tax on property

A comprehensive guide to stamp duty land tax (SDLT), available on the UK Government website. SDLT is payable on property sales and purchases above a certain value, depending on the property type and use. There is a full guide to SDLT, including how to pay it and when it applies, and forms regarding SDLT are also provided. The site also includes information on annual tax for enveloped dwellings, a different type of property tax applicable to residential dwellings.

Official Document System (ODS) of the United Nations

This site provides a search engine for the official UN document repository. It covers all types of official UN documentation, including resolutions of the General Assembly, Security Council, Economic and Social Council and Trusteeship Council from 1946 onwards, and documentation from meetings of the General Assembly and its subsidiary bodies. Documents are available in the six official languages of the UN - Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish. The site search offers a simple key word search option, an advanced search and links to popular searches.

The Kerr/Haslam Inquiry Report

The report of the Kerr/Haslam Inquiry, which was concerned with how NHS services in Yorkshire dealt with concerns raised about two consultant psychiatrists, Dr William Kerr and Mr Michael Haslam, who were involved in the sexual abuse of psychiatric patients. The Inquiry’s report was published in July 2005 and is available here on the Gov.UK website, the website for the UK government.

This web page forms part of the UK Government Web Archive which is maintained and hosted by the National Archives website. This page provides access to the archived websites of a number of completed and ongoing public inquiries and inquests. The inquiries are arranged alphabetically and the links give access to documents and reports generated by each inquiry. Inquiries accessible from this page include
the Bloody Sunday Inquiry, the Shipman Inquiry and the Baha Mousa Inquiry.

Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia

Website of the Serbian Official Gazette published by Public Enterprise Official Gazette. The Gazette includes published acts of the Serbian National Assembly, the President, Constitutional Court and other official bodies. The site also offers a subscription service to Serbian laws in English covering the political system, business, investment, taxation, finance and intellectual property. The site can be viewed in Serbian and English.

Governo da Regiao Administrativa Especial de Macau (Imprensa Oficial)

Website of the Government Printing Bureau for the Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR).  The site has full text legislation and codes along with copies of the official gazette back to 1976.  Information and legislation relating to governmental organisations is also given. There are links to other government websites including the database of Macau legislation - LegisMac. The site can be viewed in Chinese and Portuguese only.

Parlamentsspiegel

Parlamentsspiegel is the parliamentary documentation system of the German states (Laender). It provides databases of parliamentary papers (Drucksachen), parliamentary debates (Plenarprotokolle) and official gazettes (Gesetzblaetter), covering various date ranges. Some Federal publications are also available, notably the Federal Official Gazette (Bundesgesetzblatt), from 1980 onwards. To search for bills and laws only, see ‘Gesetzgebung’. The site is entirely in German.

DIP

DIP is the documentation and information system of the German national parliament, the Bundestag. It provides parliamentary papers – including bills – and parliamentary debates from December 1976 onwards. The main DIP page covers the 16th parliamentary term onwards (18th October 2005 - ). Users may browse this section of the site by theme, or select the dedicated search facilities for consultations (Beratungsabläufe), activities (Aktivitäten) or documents (Dokumente). For documents from earlier parliamentary terms, select ‘DIP 8.-15 Wahlperiode’. The site is entirely in German.
