Supreme Court of Japan

Official website of the Supreme Court of Japan. The site includes an overview of the judicial system in Japan and a guide to judicial proceedings. A database of selected Supreme Court judgments is available, in English, from 1950 onwards. The site can be viewed in English and Japanese.

Cabinet Legislation Bureau

Website of the Japanese Cabinet Legislation Bureau, the government department that assists the Cabinet on legislative matters. The site provides information on the work of the Bureau including its role in providing legal advice and opinions to the Prime Minister and Cabinet and examining legislative bills, draft Cabinet orders and draft treaties. The site also gives an outline of the legislative process in Japan. The site can be viewed in English and Japanese.

Supreme Court of Mauritius

The Website of the Supreme Court of Mauritius provides a history of the legal system in Mauritius and an outline of the court system. There are contact details for Mauritian lawyers and weekly cause lists for the various courts. Judgments are made freely available from a number of Mauritian courts- the Court of Rodrigues, the Industrial Court, the Intermediate court and the district courts. Supreme Court decisions are available on subscription. Recent legislation (from 2008 onwards) can be viewed on the site in full text.

Ministry of Justice of the State of Israel

Official Website of the Israeli Ministry of Justice, the government department whose areas of responsibility include provision of legal advice and legislation, the Office of the State Attorney, Companies Registrar, Land Registry and money laundering prohibition. The website provides information on the department's work including the development of mediation and conflict resolution, the prevention of money laundering, patent protection and registration of claims of Jews from Arab countries. The site is in Hebrew, with an English interface.

President of the Republic of Montenegro

This is the official website of the President of Montenegro. The English language version of the site provides information on the role and function of the President as well as details of his/her recent activities. It includes recent press releases, transcripts of political speeches and interviews and some biographical information. Users are also provided with gateways covering Montenegro and other state embassies.

Secret Intelligence Service

This is the official website of MI6, the secret intelligence service of the UK. It provides information on the history, purpose and activities of the SIS. This includes access to full text legislation and the Parliamentary, Ministerial, judicial and financial oversight governing the department. There is information on SIS's archive and records policy, details of careers and a glossary of terms.

Investigatory Powers Tribunal

Investigatory Powers Tribunal conducts investigations into complaints made by members of the British government under the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act. This includes surveillance, telephone tapping and interception of communications (bugging) by the Intelligence Services MI5, the Secret Intelligence Service (sometimes called MI6) and GCHQ (Government Communications Headquarters). The website provides information on the purpose, statutory powers and activities of the Tribunal.

Competition Authority

Official Website of the Irish Competition Authority (An tUdaras Iomaiochta), the "statutory body with a specific role to enforce Irish competition law". The site provides information on the background and structure or the Competition Authority and the work it carries out. The 'documents' section includes a complete collection of Competition Authority decisions along with reports, studies, discussion papers, submissions and notices. Workplace Relations Commission

The Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) is an independent statutory body whose role is to provide a workplace relations service and employment rights framework for employers and employees in Ireland. The WRC provides services to employers and employees relating to good working practices assisting and advising organisations on all aspects of industrial relations in the workplace. WRC services cover adjudication, mediation, conciliation and advice. They also carry out investigations to ensure compliance with equality and employment-related legislation.
