Securities Commission Malaysia

The Securities Commission is a statutory body with investigative and enforcement powers and a range of regulatory functions based around protecting the investor and encouraging and promoting the development of the securities and derivatives market in Malaysia. This is its official website and contains an overview of the Securities Commission and its work, details of relevant legislation and guidelines, information on capital market licencing, capital market data and statistics, press releases and careers information. It can be viewed in Bahasa Melayu as well as English.

Supreme Judicial Council

This website of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) provides information in Bulgarian and English. Details of the history, composition and administration of the SJC are given. Links are provided to the English version of the Constitution of Bulgaria, Judicial System Act, Regulation of the Supreme Judicial Council, and the bylaws of the SJC. Lists of Bulgaria’s judicial districts, district and administrative courts, and prosecutors’ officers are provided.

Government of the Czech Republic

Official website of the Czech Government. The site provides information on government activities including meetings documents, press releases and speeches. There are profiles of government members including the Prime Minister. Information is given on the role of each of the ministries and government advisory bodies of the Czech Republic along with links to the official websites. The site is provided in Czech with an English interface.

OSCE Mission to Serbia

This page of the OSCE Mission to Serbia focuses on the work of the Rule of Law and Human Rights Department of the organisation. Activities include reform of the Serbian judicial system (specifically the criminal justice system), anti-corruption, prison reform and human rights institutions. The site provides access to publications by the organisation relating to Serbian laws and legal system. There are currently reports on the following: judicial institutions; the prison system; the law making process; anti-corruption institutions and criminal procedure. These can be downloaded as PDFs.

Government of Romania

The official website of the Romanian government provides biographies of the Prime Minister and Cabinet Ministers and information on how the government is organised. The site explains the legislative process in Romania and includes information on the government’s programme and key policies for 2013 to 2016. News and events information is also provided.The site can be viewed in Romanian, French and English.

Parliament of Ukraine

Official website of the Ukrainian Parliament (Verkhovna Rada). This site provides short profiles of members of the Ukrainian Parliament, details of events and news items. Abstracts of Ukrainian laws can be viewed in English but full text legislation is available in Ukrainian only. The site can be viewed in Ukrainian, Russian and English

Parliament of the Republic of Moldova

Official website of the Moldovan Parliament. The site has information on the work of Parliament, its committees and members. There is background information on the Constitutional Court, Supreme Court and other authorities and institutions. A selection of official documents are provided in full text including the Constitution (in English), the electoral code, the law on political parties, draft laws and state budgets (in Romanian). Most of the information is provided in Romanian with a few pages made available in French and English.
