National Assembly of the Seychelles

Official website of the Seychelles National Assembly- the legislative branch of the Seychelles government. The site provides information on National Assembly members and committees and on the work of the organisation. A full text copy of the Constitution can be downloaded and there are other important documents provided including order papers, standing orders and the official Journal.

Jamaican Court Locations

This page of the Jamaican Ministry of Justice website provides information on the court system of Jamaica. There are contact details given for all Jamaican courts as well as links to the websites of the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court. Full text (PDF) copies of the Civil Procedure Rules and the Court of Appeal Rules are also provided on the site.

Parliament of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana

Official site of the Parliament of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana. Provides background information about the instituion's history and structure and about political parties. Sections on chamber business and publications cover information about the progress of bills and provide the full text of Speakers’ Rulings, Resolutions and the Constitution; these are mainly in pdf format. A separate media section covers the texts of press releases, speeches in the National Assembly and links to international organisations.

House of Lords Appointments Commission

The House of Lords Appointments Commission (HOLAC) is an independent public body established in 2000 as part of a transitional phase in the reform of the House of Lords (as set out in the 1999 white paper, ‘Modernising Parliament, Reforming the House of Lords’, Cm 4183). It recommends people for appointment to non-party-political life peerages and also vets nominations (including nominations by political parties) for life peerages.

Attorney General’s Chambers of Montserrat

Official website of the Attorney General of Montserrat who is the Government’s chief legal adviser. The site provides access to all laws in force in Montserrat including acts, statutory instruments and statutory rules and orders. The Acts section has full text (PDF) legislation contained in the 2008 Revised Edition of the Laws of Montserrat along with amendments and new acts passed since 2008. The Omitted Laws section contains all laws excluded from the last revised edition of laws.

Nepal Law Commission

Website of the Nepal Law Commission. Has a database containing the prevailing laws of Nepal and bills in progress, as well as an archive of past legislation, and also includes publications and a law drafting manual made by the Nepal Law Commission. Has links to the Nepal government ministries. Mainly written in Nepali, but sections of the website are in English and some documents having an English version available.

Nepal Government Portal

The website of the Government of Nepal. Has details and links to the government ministries, departments, government agencies and the Supreme Court of Nepal, as well as links to the Nepal Law Commission, which holds the policies, acts and laws of Nepal. Written in Nepali, with an English translation for some portions of the website.

Government of Timor-Leste

Website of the East Timor Government, providing official publications, legislation, news and information about the government of East Timor, its history and the political system. The legislation section of the site provides selected recent laws and a few treaties; much of the legislation is available in English, but some of it is only in Portuguese. The legislation is divided into categories: the Constitution; business and investment; taxation; imports and exports; oil and gas; transport and communications and immigration. The site is available in English, Portuguese or Tetum versions.

Court Services of Timor-Leste

Website providing information on the courts of Timor-Leste (East Timor). There is information on the Court of Appeal including the names of the judges, full-text judgments and laws; the laws include the Civil Code, Penal Code, the Constitution, Code of Civil Procedure and the Code of Criminal Procedure. Contact details of the District Courts are also given. The site is available to view in Portuguese only.
