Independent Case Examiner

Official website of the Independent Case Examiner (ICE) whose role is to investigate complaints made by users of the following Government Agencies: the Child Support Agency; Debt Management; Pension, Disability and Carers Service; the Financial Assistance Scheme; Jobcentre Plus; Child Maintenance and Enforcement Division (Northern Ireland) and the Northern Ireland Social Security Agency. The site gives guidance on how to make a complaint and how complaints will be dealt with by the ICE, additional information about the work of the ICE, annual reports and news items about the service.

Employment Law Guide

Website of the Employment Law Guide a freely available resource provided by the United States Department of Labor (DOL). The Guide provides information on major statutes and regulations administered by the DOL that affect businesses and workers. The Guide is arranged into sections which include wages and hours worked, health and safety standards, health benefits, retirement and workersã compensation, work authorisation for non-US citizens and federal contracts. Reference is also made to laws relating to the agriculture, construction and mining industries.

Supreme Court of the Philippines

Official website of the Philippines Supreme Court. The site provides a history of the Supreme Court and a presentation outlining the Philippine judiciary and court system. Decisions of the court from the last 12 months are available on the site, with a link to the Supreme Court e-Library for older judgments (back to 1996). The Court's monthly newsletter, Benchmark, is available, along with annual reports, court rules, circulars and orders and information on bar exams and examinees.

Supreme Court of Mongolia

Official website of the Supreme Court of Mongolia. These pages provide a history of the courts in Mongolia, details of the justices and information on the structure, role and organisation of the Supreme Court. Information is also given on related judicial bodies including the Mongolian Judges Association, the Judicial Disciplinary Committee, the Judicial Qualification Committee and the General Council of Courts. The can be viewed in Mongolian and English.

Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Official website of the Kazakhstan Supreme Court. This site can be viewed in Russian and Kazakh. The English interface provides brief information only. This includes a history of the Supreme Court, a profile of the Chairman and a link to the website of the Committee on Judicial Administration. There is also guidance on using the Court and the sort of cases heard by the Supreme Court and a copy of the Kazakhstan law governing the judicial system and the status of judges.

Supreme Court of Afghanistan

Official website of the Supreme Court of Afghanistan. This site has an English interface but most of the content is provided in Dari and Pashto. There is information on the divisions of the Supreme Court including the Appeal Courts, Primary Courts and Special Courts. A full text copy of the Constitution of Afghanistan is given along with a copy of the Law of the Organization and Authorityof the Courts of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and links to sites offering a searchable collection of Afghanistan laws in Arabic and one providing Afghanistan laws translated into English.

Constitutional Court of the Republic of Montenegro

Official website of the Constitutional Court of Montenegro. The site has historical information on the Court since its establishment in 1963 and information on its jurisdiction, organisation and judges. There is a full text copy of the Constitution (in Croatian only) and legislation relating to the Constitutional Court. A selection of resolutions of the Court can be viewed in English. These deal with the status of religious organisations, the election of municipal delegates and changes to the labour law. More case law is available to view in Croatian.

Supreme Court of Norway

Official website of the Norwegian Supreme Court (Høyesterett). The English version has an introduction to the Court, summaries of judgments from 2000 to the present and speeches given by Supreme Court justices. The Norwegian version of the site has full-text judgments from 2008 onwards, an outline of court procedures, news, articles and speeches. There is also a Sami version of the site.
