Bar Association of the District of Columbia

The Bar Association of the District of Columbia (BADC) is a voluntary bar association representing members of the Washington DC legal community. West Virginia State Bar

Website of the West Virginia State Bar the organisation representing members of the legal profession in the US state of West Virginia. The site has information about the activities of the State Bar along with contact details of the Board of Governors and members of the various committees. There is a membership directory and information relating to disciplinary procedures and rules of professional conduct. Access is also provided to full-text legal ethics opinions. Common Core of Private European Law

The Common Core of Private European Law is a project based at the University of Trento in Italy, involving academics from Europe and the United States. The aim of the project is to analyse the private law of EU member states in order to establish the common elements. The site explains the background and methodology of the project and includes copies of the survey questionnaires used in its work. Relevant books by members of the project are listed.

Scottish Council of Law Reporting

Website of the Scottish Council of Law Reporting, a non-profit company made up of Scottish judges, advocates and solicitors, whose purpose is to manage the publication of its Session Cases law report series and other materials. The site gives subscription information for the Sessions Cases which can be accessed online and in hard copy. There is a comprehensive collection of legal links focussing on the law in Scotland and organised by subject.

West Virginia Lawyer

The West Virginia Lawyer is a regular, publication of the West Virginia State Bar, the organisation representing members of the legal profession in the US state of West Virginia. Back issues of The West Virginia Lawyer are made available online with issues from 2003 appearing as PDF documents. Current issues are not displayed, but subscription details are given. The journal focuses on West Virginia law and includes feature articles, news from the State Bar and a Supreme Court page.

Wisconsin Lawyer

The Wisconsin Lawyer is the monthly publication of the State Bar of Wisconsin (WisBar), the body representing members of the legal profession practising in the state of Wisconsin in the United States. Most content is free to view online but older articles (pre 2002) are available to subscribers only. Back issues can be searched by date or topic. European Group on Tort Law

The European Group on Tort Law is made up of scholars in the area of tort law and the website is hosted by the University of Girona in Spain. The group has produced a collection of Principles of European Tort Law which is focused on the harmonisation of tort law across Europe. The report is made freely available on the site in a range of formats and languages (including non-European languages). There are profiles of members of the group and details of their publications; some of these have links to the full text.
