Boundaries Scotland

The Local Government Boundary Commission for Scotland (LGBCS) is an Advisory Non-departmental Public Body funded by the Scottish Government. Its job involves carrying out statutory reviews of electoral and administrative arrangements, monitoring electoral arrangements and responding to requests for ad hoc reviews of electoral or administrative arrangements. The site contains maps of all local government electoral wards in Scotland, relevant legislation, reports of reviews carried out, annual reports and minutes of meetings.

Supreme Court of Jamaica

The official website of the Supreme Court of Jamaica provides court listings, a judgments database (mainly cases from 1997 onwards), forms, court rules, practice directions, the Judicature (Supreme Court) Act and the Jamaica Sentencing Guidelines. It also has statistics, news and other information.

Parliament of Trinidad and Tobago

This is the official parliament website of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. It provides background information about the House of Representatives and Senate and their committees, together with news and publications. Hansard is available from 1990 onwards and acts from 1999 onwards. The current and previous constitutions of Trinidad and Tobago are also on the site, and there is information about the progress of current bills.

LawNet

Legal research website by the Singapore Academy of Law. The site provides a range of legal information, by subscription, including case law of Singapore and Malaysia, Singaporean legislation, parliamentary reports, treaties and commentary. There is also a selection of free legal materials, including links sources of Singapore legislation, legal news, case law, commentary and law reform reports.

LAWS Database of the Project Volterra

Database compiled by a research project at the History Department of University College London, examining Roman legislation in a broad context. Contains Roman legislative texts, ancient interpretation of them and references to modern legal and historical commentary on them. The database is arranged in two parts, Law and Empire AD 193- 455 and Law and the End of Empire.

Human Rights Lawyers Association

The Human Rights Lawyers Association (HRLA) is a professional organisation launched in 2003 to provide a forum for lawyers, academics and students interested in human rights law. Activities of the HRLA include publishing papers and articles, organising seminars and workshops and providing consultancy and advice. The website sets out the aims of the HRLA, events and membership details. The site also provides access to conference papers and a page of annotated web links to related sites.

Divorcenet

Divorcenet provides free online articles and legal information about divorce in the United States: legislation, judicial opinions, articles and directories of lawyers, arranged by state. It also offers an online divorce facility and a divorce tool-kit. Other topics covered on the site include mediation, insurance, bankruptcy and military divorce. Divorcenet is part of Nolo.com, which developed from a legal self-help publishing project started by two legal aid lawyers in 1971. Nolo is a subsidary of MH Sub I, LLC.

Senior Law

The Senior Law website is produced by US law firm Goldfarb Abrandt & Salzman LLP, who specialise in elder law and the rights of the elderly and disabled. It provides articles covering elder law, elder abuse and neglect, nursing home law, Medicaid information, Medicare and social security information. There is also a directory of links to other US lawyers specialising in elder law.
