The guide aims to provide best practice advice for museums responding to restitution and repatriation cases. The guide was updated in 2026 and includes sections on provenance research, dealing with a claim and implementing the outcome. There are case studies, templates and checklists and references to relevant national and international legal instruments.

Recent topics covered include the Finance Act 2026, the Value For Money framework for DC pension schemes and The Pensions Regulator’s administration guidance.

Bar Association of Guyana

Website of the Bar Association of Guyana, the body representing Attorneys-at-Law in Guyana. The site includes contact details of members that can be searched or browsed alphabetically. News items and annual reports are also made available electronically on the site. Parts of the site are restricted to members only.

Constitution of Guyana

The 1980 Constitution of Guyana, as amended up to 2016, provided by the Comparative Constitutions Project at the University of Texas at Austin. There are chapters covering the fundamental rights and freedoms of the individual, the role of parliament, the president, executive, judiciary and local government.

International Association for Legislation

Website of the International Association for Legislation (IAL), a charitable organisation that started in 1991 as the European Association of Legislation. The aim of the IAL is to improve legislation, promote research and teaching and to strengthen international cooperation in the field of legislation. Members of IAL include universities, law societies, national associations for legislation, parliamentary and government officials. The Association holds conferences and lectures and produces publications some of which can be downloaded from the site including the IAL Newsletter.

Corporate Veil Doctrine and its Implications in Offshore Jurisdictions

Online guide to the corporate veil doctrine in offshore jurisdictions written by Veronica Rozenfeld who is a Junior Associate at Capital Legal Services in Baku, Azerbaijan. The guide was published in 2025 on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law. The author gives a definition of the corporate veil doctrine as a “cornerstone of corporate law, shielding shareholders from personal liability for the obligations of their companies” and an overview of ‘offshore’ jurisdictions.

Africa Institute of Environmental Law

Website of the Africa Institute of Environmental Law (AIEL) which is the research arm of the Zimbabwe Environmental Law Association (ZELA). AIEL conducts research, training, analysis and legal drafting covering environmental law, sustainable development, natural resource governance and biodiversity. Policy briefs and research papers can be viewed on the site with recent topics covered including Zimbabwe's lithium Industry, the tourism sector in Namibia and the oil and gas situation in southern Africa.

African Coalition for Corporate Accountability

The African Coalition for Corporate Accountability (ACCA) supports civil society organisations working for African communities whose human rights are adversely impacted by corporations. The focus is on environmental and natural resources rights, land acquisition, tenure and property rights with ACCA using policy advocacy, evidence-based research, capacity-building and technical support to promote community rights. Reports and policy briefs can be downloaded from the site.

Forum-Asia

Forum-Asia (Asian Forum for Human Rights and Development) is a membership network of human rights organisations in Asia. The aim of Forum-Asia is to promote and protect human rights, civic space, and democracy in the region and the organisation has a consultative role with the UN Economic and Social Council and the ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights. Their work is focused on the rights of women, LGBTIQ+ groups, business and human rights and the impact of business on environment and climate change.
