Northern Territory Attorney General’s Department

Website of the Attorney General’s Department of the Northern Territory (NT) of Australia. The Department covers the NT courts, tribunals, correctional services, regulatory services and the Director of Public Prosecutions. The site gives links to the court websites which include daily lists and decisions. There are justice publications, information on the work of the NT Law Reform Committee and information aimed at legal practitioners.

Government of Norway

Official website of the Norway government which provides access to all government ministries and the Prime Minister’s office. Details of the government including a list of MPs are given along with information on the governments of Norway going back to 1814. There are links to government documents including white papers, consultations and committee reports. A link is given to Lovdata where Norwegian legislation can be viewed. The site can be viewed in Norwegian, Icelandic and English.

International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property

Non-profit organisation dedicated to the development of intellectual property laws. Founded in 1897, AIPPI is a global association for IP lawyers, patent and trademark professionals, judges, engineers and scientists. It carries out studies of national legislation and makes recommendations for harmonisation of laws at the international level. The AIPPI website includes a library of more than 3,500 publications and provides news and details of the association’s events

African Institute of International Law

The African Institute of International Law (AIIL) promotes the dissemination of international law in Africa and seeks to enhance the rule of law in Africa. Its website gives details of AIIL workshops, summer schools, capacity-building projects and other events. It also makes available the African Law Series: compilations of African legal instruments including AU/OAU treaties, declarations and resolutions (see Media Center – Resources).

Laws of Guyana

Consolidated laws of Guyana, arranged by subject, on the website of the Ministry of Legal Affairs. Amendments are listed on the first page of each act as well as being incorporated into the text. A search facility is provided.

Cayman Islands Law Courts

This website provides information on the history and structure of the Cayman Islands courts. There are profiles of the judges, information on the work of the various committees and professional directories of law firms, Justices of the Peace, licensed attorneys and Notaries Public. A link is given to Cayman Island law reports which are available via the vLex subscription database.

Major Pending Election Cases

This database is a project of the Election Law Program at The Ohio State University’s Moritz College of Law, made freely available online in partnership with the SCOTUSblog website. The database provides case summaries, comprehensive court filings and expert commentary about important election law cases from around the United States. The case tracker can be searched by date, name, state, status and topic. Along with the case summaries there are links to associated court documents. It is also possible to view all cases relating to the 2020 presidential election results.

Burkina Faso: A Bird’s-Eye’s View of the Legal System

Online guide to the legal system of Burkina Faso written by Sâ Benjamin Traoré who is Associate Professor of Law at the Africa Institute for Research in Economics and Social Sciences and a Faculty of Governance, Economics and Social Sciences at the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University in Morocco. The guide was published in 2024 on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law.

University of Law Blog

The University of Law blog is aimed at law students and anyone interested in legal education or pursuing a career in law. Recent posts provide information on studying at the University of Law with city guides to places where the University has campuses. Other posts look at different types of law firms, finding legal internships, legal research skills and training contracts.
