Conflict of Laws in New Zealand

Website on the conflict of laws in New Zealand, hosted by the University of Otago. The aim of the site is to make this subject more accessible to practitioners, students, academics and the general public. It has a bibliography of scholarly articles on the conflict of laws, which can be searched or browsed by keyword, and which provides reference details and short abstracts. There is also a blog providing news and comment on conflict of laws, and a page of links to relevant New Zealand legislation.

Legislative Portal

The Legislative Portal is a public database of Romanian legislation from 1989 onwards, together with selected earlier legislation, searchable by date, number and type of instrument. The Portal also provides the Civil Code, Civil Procedure Code, Penal Code and Code of Criminal Procedure. The interface and content are in Romanian only. The site is administered by the Romanian Ministry of Justice and was developed as part of the EU's N-Lex initiative (see: n-lex.europa.eu).

Octopus Cybercrime Community

Website of the Octopus Cybercrime Community, an initiative of the Council of Europe for information sharing and cooperation on cybercrime and electronic evidence. Resources on the site include the Country Wiki, giving details of national cybercrime policy, legislation (including links to full-text legislation) and cases, together with information about each country's status regarding the Budapest Convention on Cybercrime.

Australian Federal Relations Architecture

Website of the Australian Federal Relations Architecture an intergovernmental forum where Commonwealth, state and territory ministers can meet to manage matters of national significance or issues that need co-ordinated action by all Australian governments. The National Cabinet is a forum for the Prime Minister, Premiers and Chief Ministers and there are Ministerial Councils where Commonwealth, state and territory ministers work collaboratively on issues specific to their portfolio areas through intergovernmental meetings.

Australasian Parliamentary Counsel's Committee

Website of the Australasian Parliamentary Counsel's Committee (PCC), a discussion forum for the development of legislation. The PCC consists of the heads of the offices of Parliamentary Counsel for the Australian Commonwealth, the States, the ACT, the Northern Territory and New Zealand. PCC publications on national uniform legislation and a list of harmonised laws are available on the site, together with a page of links to sites providing legislation for common law jurisdictions. Parts of the site are password-protected. 

Legislation of Ukraine

This site is compiled by Verkhovna Rada (the parliament) of Ukraine and provides access to a database of full-text Ukrainian legislation. The database can be searched by keyword, type, date and government department. The New Acts page lists legal instruments by date and issuing authority (Parliament, President, and so on); it can be browsed by date, month and other criteria. The site hasd Ukrainian, Russian and English interfaces, but Ukrainian search terms must be used, as the legislation is provided in Ukrainian only.

ICLR: Knowledge

The ICLR (Incorporated Council of Law Reporting for England and Wales) is a legal publisher that produces The Law Reports, The Weekly Law Reports, The Industrial Cases Reports and other law reports. The Knowledge section of its website provides introductory information about various aspects of case law and legislation, including neutral citations, the difference between a law report and a transcript, and the publication of legislation. There is also has a glossary of legal terms and an 'Ask a Question  feature. 

Queensland Law

The Queensland Law Collection provides free access to digitised legal materials including historical Queensland legislation and materials that were previously offered by Ozcase, a web collaboration project that finished in 2018.

Attorney General’s Office of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan

Website of the Afghanistan Attorney General’s Office (AGO), which forms part of the executive branch of the Afghanistan government, but plays an independent role in law enforcement. Background and historical information on the AGO is given on the site, along with biographical information on the Attorney General. Policy documents and reports dealing with the work of the AGO are given in English and there is a section outlining the work of the Afghanistan Prosecutors’ Association.

Ministry of Justice of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan

Official website of the Afghanistan Ministry of Justice (MOJ). There is background information about the MOJ, its role and history, and biographical information about the Justice Minister. A copy of the current constitution is given in English with previous constitutions (back to 1964) available in Dari. A database of Afghanistan laws and copies of the Official Gazette are also provided. The site can be viewed in Dari, Pashto and English.
