Indiana State Bar Association

Website of the Indiana State Bar Association (ISBA) the professional body representing attorneys practising in Indiana. The site provides information about the committees and sections of the ISBA and contact details for the Board of Governors. There are links to Indiana legal services, courts and the Indiana Code. There are also links to various community service programmes which the ISBA supports. Brochures providing public information on issues such as family law and joint tenancy in Indiana are provided in PDF format. Sections of the site are restricted to members only.

The Indiana Bar Foundation (IBF) is a charitable foundation which promotes access to justice in Indiana in the United States. The website has information including IBF annual reports and details of grants and awards. There is also information about the IBF's workm which includes education programmes, research projects and projects aimed at teenagers and the elderly.

Illinois State Bar Association

The Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) is a voluntary organisation representing the state's legal profession and working to improve the administration of justice. Its website includes a directory of Illinois lawyers and links to state courts, statutes and legislation. Legal news, CLE and events information, the Illinois Rules of Professional Conduct and a set of links to online legal resources are also available. A section for the general public offers a searchable directory of lawyers, overviews of legal topics and information about the court system.

Alabama State Bar

The Alabama State Bar, a professional organisation responsible for the conduct and licensing of attorneys in Alabama. Its website includes information about continuing legal education, the lawyer assistance program, details of practice sections and membership, as well as a legislation newsletter. A searchable directory of members is available and there is a page for the general public with information about access to justice. There is also guidance on making a complaint against an Alabama lawyer. Some content is restricted to bar members.

Connecticut Bar Association

The Connecticut Bar Association (CBA) represents the legal profession in the US state of Connecticut. Its website provides information including the association's constitution, bylaws, press releases and periodicals. A page for the public provides a virtual legal clinic, a directory of Connecticut lawyers and information about civics courses. The site also covers the work of the state legislature, legal education, pro bono assistance and advice on settling legal fee disputes. Some parts of the website are available to members only.

Alaska Bar Association

The Alaska Bar Association a mandatory organisation responsible for disciplinary issues and controlling admission to practise law in the US state of Alaska. Its website provides guidance on ethics and disciplinary issues for lawyers and the public, including ethics opinions, rules and guidance. Information about membership of the bar, bar committees, pro bono opportunities and CLE resources are provided. There is legal information for the general public and a page of links to Alaskan legal resources online. The site also has a directory of lawyers.

Arkansas Bar Association

The website of the Arkansas Bar Association provides information for the Arkansas legal community and the general public. The site has information about the Association's committees and sections. It provides details of events, CLE information and members-only content for lawyers. A help section includes a searchable directory of lawyers, information about access to justice and pamphlets on legal topics .

Colorado Bar Association

Website of the Colorado Bar Association (CBA) which provides information for the Colorado legal community and members of the public. The site has information about the various sections and committees of the Association along with details of officers, governors and staff. A directory of lawyers can be searched by name, practice area or state and there is a resource directory to other legal services in Colorado. A selection of fact sheets aimed at the public provide guidance on legal issues in Colorado such as living wills, estate planning and choosing a lawyer.

Delaware State Bar Association

The Delaware State Bar Association was established in 1923 and provides services to the Delaware legal community and the general public. The site provides contact details of the Executive Committee and Association staff and there is information about the various sections and committees. Contents pages of the Delaware Law Review are available on the site along with copies of the Association's magazine, IN RE. Opinions of the Association's Committee on Professional Ethics are available in PDF back to 1978. There are also links to Delaware legal information and other websites.

Delaware Law Review

The Delaware Law Review is published by the Delaware State Bar Association and the contents pages are made freely available on their website. The Review is published annually and contains scholarly articles focusing particularly on Delaware law.
