The Law Association of New Zealand

The Law Association of New Zealand (TLANZ), formerly the Auckland District Law Society (ADLS), is the professional body representing barristers and solicitors in New Zealand. Its website has an overview of its history and current role, together with information about membership and continuing professional development. It also provides details of TLANZ mediation services, legal news, a directory of lawyers and a link to a legal forms site. A collection of resources for members is available via a login.

Law Society of the Australian Capital Territory

The Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Law Society is a professional organisation based in Canberra, Australia. Its website includes a directory of members, details of training and events, annual reports and links to legislation relating to the legal profession in ACT. New South Wales Bar Association

Website of the New South Wales Bar Association a professional organisation representing practising barristers in New South Wales, Australia. Law Institute of Victoria

Website of the Law Institute of Victoria (LIV) an organisation for members of the legal profession working in Victoria, Australia. The site provides historical and organisational information about the LIV and full text annual reports going back to 2000. The Regulation section has information on legal ethics, legal practice, complaints and other issues related to the regulation of the legal profession in Victoria. The Public area features information on legal careers, finding a lawyer, making a complaint and a collection of information sheets to various aspects of the law in Victoria.

Law Society of South Africa

The LSSA is the professional body for lawyers in South Africa. Its website includes guidance for lawyers, careers information and regulatory material, including the Legal Practice Act. It also has information for the public about obtaining legal advice and making complaints about legal services, together with a set of briefings on topics such as inheritance, house sales/purchases, consumer rights, fines, small claims, road accident claims and visas.
