Decisions of the Federal Court of Malaysia

A CommonLII database containing decisions of the Federal Court of Malaysia. Decisions are available from 2001 onwards and can be viewed using the system's comprehensive search facility, case name search or alphabetical browse list. Full text documents are presented in HTML. The decisions can also be viewed on the Malaysian Court Website and a link is given to this site. The Commonwealth Legal Information Institute (CommonLII) is a collaborative service providing free access to primary legal materials from Commonwealth and common law countries and territories.

Court of Appeal of Sri Lanka

A CommonLII database containing judgments of the Sri Lankan Court of Appeal reported in the Sri Lanka Law Reports from 1979-2000. There are also cases going back as far as 1809 and recent cases are provided up to 2005. Decisions can be browsed alphabetically or by date. The system also offers a comprehensive search facility, case name search and help page. Full text decisions are presented in HTML. The data has been made available by LAWNET a project established by the Sri Lankan Ministry of Justice.

Intellectual Property Office of Singapore

Official Website of the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS). The site provides information about the work of IPOS including details of services, events, news items and patent and trademark statistics. Detailed background information on intellectual property in Singapore is given covering patents, trademarks, copyright issues, registered designs and plant varieties protection. There are legislative updates highlighting key legal developments for the years from 1997 onwards.

Commonwealth and International Human Rights Case Law Databases

These two databases are compiled by INTERIGHTS, the International Centre for the Legal Protection of Human Rights, and made freely available on their website. One covers human rights decisions in the courts of Commonwealth countries and the other covers the decisions of international courts and tribunals. The databases can be searched separately or together. There is a summary of each case and some judgments are available in full.

East Timor Law Journal

Archive site providing the contents of the East Timor Law Journal (ETLJ) from 2004 to 2011. The journal published articles, East Timorese legislation and court decisions, Indonesian legislation relating to East Timor and laws of the United Nations Transitional Administration in East Timor (UNTAET).

Court of Appeal of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas

Website of the Bahamas Court of Appeal. Judgments are available on the site back to about 2003; they can be browsed by date, or searched by case type, title, date and/or number. Information on the organisational structure of the Court and a list of justices past and present are available. Details of the procedures followed for criminal and civil cases are given along with a listing of upcoming cases and the text of the Court of Appeal act and other relevant legislation.

Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Website of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The site has background information about the court, its jurisdiction and role under the Constitution along with court rules. The Constitution itself can be viewed on the site in HTML. Decisions of the court are available online back to 1997 in a range of formats. News and press releases are provided along with a selection of FAQs on making an appeal to the court. The site can be viewed in English, Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian.

Family Law Week

Family Law Week is a site providing information and training on family law issues to the legal profession. The site includes articles, news items and full text judgments. Statutory Instruments are provided back to 2005 along with practice directions and guidance. Monthly newsletters provide a round up of family law developments. Access to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) resources can be bought online and other features include job advertisements and family law web links. The whole site can be searched using a site search engine.

Constitutional Court of South Africa

Official website of the Constitutional Court of South Africa. It provides information on the history of the Court and the Constitution, together with the text of the Constitution itself in English and the other official languages of South Africa. There is a database of Constitutional Court judgments, orders, heads of argument, pleadings and other documents.The site also has information on human rights in South Africa, including a copy of the Bill of Rights. The library section of the site includes an online catalogue and links to other South African and international legal sites.

High Court of Justice in Northern Ireland Chancery Division Decisions

A BAILII database containing decisions of the Northern Ireland High Court of Justice, Chancery Division. The database contains decisions from 1998 onwards. Cases are listed alphabetically by party name and chronologically by year. The system also offers a comprehensive search facility. The British and Irish Legal Information Institute (BAILII) is a collaborative service providing free access to primary legal materials for the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.
