High Court of the Republic of South Africa- Eastern Cape Division

This SAFLII database provides full text access to judgments of the High Courts of the Eastern Cape in South Africa. Decisions are available from 1996 onwards to date and can be searched or browsed alphabetically by party name or chronologically by year. The Southern African Legal Information Institute (SAFLII) is a collaborative project of the Wits Law School in South Africa and the Australasian Legal Information Institute (AustLII) providing free South African legal information.

Office of the Commissioner for Federal Judicial Affairs Canada

Website of the Office of the Commissioner for Federal Judicial Affairs (OCFJA) the Canadian body whose role is to provide administrative support to the federal judiciary and safeguard its independence. The Commissioner is also responsible for the administration of federal judicial appointments and the site includes information and guidance on the appointments process. There is background information on the Federal Court and the Federal Court of Appeal along with law reports which are made available in either full-text or digest form.

Italian Constitutional Court

Official website of the Italian Constitutional Court. This site includes information about the work of the court including brief biographical details of its President, Vice President and judges. A calendar of public hearings and closed sessions is given along with court pronouncements and summaries (in Italian only) of judgements back to 1956. Recent judgements (from 2006 onwards), felt to be of interest to foreign users, can be viewed in English in full text.

Election Law at Ohio State

Election Law at Ohio State is a research, education and outreach programme based at Moritz College of Law at Ohio State University. It focuses on the law relating to United States federal, state and local elections. The site includes a case tracker, with links to court documents, a blog, news items and links to articles on election law. 

Attorney General's Chambers (Brunei)

Website of the Attorney General of Brunei Darussalam, the principal legal advisor to the government. Provides background information on the role of the Attorney General and a list of all holders of the post back to 1959. Outline information on the divisions of the Attorney General's Chambers dealing with civil law, criminal law and legislative drafting is also given. Selected laws of Brunei are available on the site in PDF format.

Supreme Court of Appeal of South Africa

Official website of the Supreme Court of Appeal of South Africa. The site gives background and historical information about the court including brief details of judges and a collection of speeches delivered by the Chief Justice. Full text judgements of the Court are available online back to 1999. These can be browsed by date or name. The Court's bulletin gives information on judgements reserved, cases enrolled for hearing and appeals disposed of without written reasons.The Court roll, practice directions and a page of related web links are also provided.

DMC's Case Notes

Website produced by David Martin-Clark who is a Shipping, Transport and Insurance Consultant. The site provides a selection of case notes covering recent shipping and insurance cases. Case notes include citations, keywords and summaries. Shipping cases are further sub-divided by topics such as admiralty, arbitration and carriage of goods. New case notes can be emailed if you register on the site. There are also biographical details relating to David Martin-Clark and information on other contributors.

Ecclesiastical Law Society

Website of the Ecclesiastical Law Society (ELS), an organisation established in 1987 to promote the study of ecclesiastical and canon law. The site outlines the aims of the Society and gives details of its events and publications, including the Ecclesiastical Law Journal. The book, 'The Principles of Canon Law Common to the Churches of the Anglican Communion' can be downloaded in pdf format, free of charge. To accompany the book, the site provides a bibliography, details of selected cases and links to Church resolutions and other official documents.
